I don’t need to “defend Flynn” on X. Let’s listen to DJT as to why @GenFlynn was fired. Sounds like GF lied and then didn’t remember aka unethical? Trump then says, “ And I have somebody that I think will be outstanding for the position and that helps, I think, in the making of my decision (of FIRING FLYNN).” That person turned out to be one of his favorite Generals, General Keith Kellogg.

help in obtaining a position on the Trump Campaign.

By February 25, 2016, Barrack had spoken to Trump twice about the possibility of Manafort joining the Campaign.252 According to Barrack, Trump initially was not interested in the idea of hiring Manafort because Trump closely associated Manafort with Roger Stone, whom Barrack described as having a "love-hate" relationship with Trump.
