How many of you know about Abhinandan Mishra, Guru Dutt Singh, and KKK Nair? They should have been household names among the Ram Mandir supporters, but sadly most people don't even know their names.

Abhinandan Mishra was a muscular, young man who had to leave his native place Darbhanga due frequent fights with family and villagers due to his short temper.

Upon arriving in Ayodhya, he became a Sadhu named 'Abhiram Das,' and joined Nirvani Akhada. (2/11)

He swiftly gained fame in Ayodhya as 'Abhiram Pehalwan' for his wrestling skills.

He had a small band of disciples to whom he used to narrate his dream about Lord Ram revealing the exact spot of his birth to him, that was under the central dome of disputed structure. (3/11)

Das had strong connections within the top Ayodhya administration due to his flamboyance.

In Dec 1949, he shared his dream with the then Faizabad city magistrate, Guru Dutt Singh, who recounted a similar dream. They found support in district collector KKK Nair. (4/11)

The trio decided that the time had come for Ram Lala to take his place on the janmsthaan, i.e., in the central dome of disputed structure.

On the night of Dec 22, 1949, Abhiram Das with his 50-60 disciples placed Ram idol at the janmsthaan while the police looked away. (5/11)

Soon, the news spread throughout Ayodhya that Ram Lala had appeared on his janmasthan.

The Ayodhya administration, Nair, and Guru Dutt Singh delayed the news reaching the center to allow more local and state people to learn about it and connect their sentiments with it. (6/11)

When news finally reached the Centre. Nehru, through the Chief Secretary and IGP, instructed Nair and Guru Dutt Singh to remove the idol from the disputed structure. Both refused, citing the potential for communal tensions.

What happened next is even more amazing... (7/11)

Nehru instructed the then CM of UP, GB Pant to go to Ayodhya and ensure his instructions are implemented.

City Magistrate Guru Dutt Singh stopped his own CM from entering Ayodhya saying that he couldn't guarantee CM's safety due to sensitive situation of Ayodhya! Lol! (8/11).

Guru Dutt Singh immediately thereafter resigned but only after he pronounced certain written orders to make irreversible changes in the temple status.

Soon the Nehru administration locked the disputed structure and dismissed KKK Nair for dereliction of duty. (9/11).

However, by then, both Guru Dutt Singh and KKK Nair had done enough to prevent the center from daring to remove the idol.

The placement of the idol inside the disputed structure became one of the major tipping point in the Janambhoomi movement. (10/11)

Same was observed by Supreme Court in their final verdict when it said : placing of idols followed by attachment of the disputed site by a magisterial court, led to the filing of the first of five suits in connection with the controversial site. End.
