The former speaker came in to fundraise for Democratic Rep Suzan DelBene at the Westin downtown but pro-Hamas activists from the "Samidoun Seattle," a group that advocates for the release of terrorists in prison, crashed the party
Terrorist supporters demanded "the liberation of Palestine, for the end to the zionist occupation" AKA no more Israel. This will be the new talking point now that Hamas has rejected 3 ceasefires including an offer of a 2 month ceasefire this week from Israel Hamas
The Hamasniks declared "Thursday Jan 25th a regional strike day"
No one in Seattle noticed
The Democrats in the room seem unimpressed with the far-left fringe of their party and had security escort them out
There is another protest by the Democratic Socialists of America, the group that was rallying for Hamas on October 8 even before Israel went into Gaza scheduled for Friday at Rep. Adam Smith's office in Renton. His home was vandalized with antisemitic graffiti last month.

🧵EXCLUSIVE: HOW WASHINGTON STATE LEFT ITSELF OPEN TO FRAUD
The Dept of Community & Human Services (DCHS) awarded over $1.5 billion in grants in 2023 & 2024, up from $22 million in 2019 & 2020, but didn't apply controls, resulting in improper payments, including potential fraud, across multiple programs
According to the King County Auditor, DCHS took on greater financial risk as a strategy to reduce barriers to contracting among organizations with limited government experience & didn't manage its financial risk. Gaps were found in enforcement of contract terms, validation of invoices & communication of expectations to staff & grantees.
The report stated, "during the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to distribute emergency funds quickly, as well as the County’s declaration of racism as a public health crisis, informed DCHS practices more broadly. This led to a focus on speed over the need to prevent fraud."
After it was revealed that the Seattle Police would no longer enforce drug crimes & instead would refer offenders to failed "diversion" programs, city officials tried to claim it wasn't true, but their own emails prove they were lying 👇
SPD claimed "nothing has changed when it comes to police continuing to make drug-related arrests in Seattle."
But the email Police Chief Shon Barnes sent to officers said, "As we begin a new year, new policies and procedures are inevitable...Effective immediately, all charges related to drug possession and/or drug use will be diverted from prosecution to the LEAD program."
SPD said, "officers will continue to make arrests for drug-related charges if they have probable cause. The CAO (City Attorney's Office) will then implement their policy regarding prosecution next steps."
However, officers usually don't make arrests they know won't get prosecuted, and the directive to divert offenders came from CAO Erika Evans
🧵Seattle’s Police Staffing “Milestone” Leaves Out Key Context
Seattle touted a major police staffing milestone — SPD is “on track” to hire its 150th officer this year & has turned its staffing crisis around.
However, internal staffing data tells a different story.
Seattle claims it will hire more officers in 2025 than in 2023 & 2024 combined.
However, SPD’s own internal documents show that 141 hires have already occurred in 2024, projected to reach 170 — more than double the city's publicly claimed number.
The city’s 2025 math lumps in recruits, trainees, and unavailable personnel.
None of these groups can independently answer 911 calls, yet all are counted as “sworn.”
🧵The left is trying to falsely claim that all political violence and extremism comes from the right. They are using two reports to back up their talking points.
Both reports cherry picked data to craft a false narrative. Let's start with the one deleted from the DOJ website
I reviewed the report “What NIJ Research Tells Us About Domestic Terrorism,” June 2024.
The report begins its statistical framing in 1990, skipping over the very violent decades of the 1970s and 1980s, when left-wing groups like the Weather Underground, FALN & Black Liberation Army carried out bombings, shootings & assassinations.
That omission intentionally minimizes the historical scale of left-wing domestic terrorism & frames the trend as primarily right-wing in the dataset period.
The report acknowledges “radical Islamist” extremism but treats it largely as an international phenomenon & underplays the scale of jihadist violence on US soil.
Major US attacks like 9/11 (2001), the Fort Hood shooting (2009), the Boston Marathon bombing (2013) & the Pulse nightclub massacre (2016) are not given proportional emphasis, despite their extremely high casualty counts.
For those that call Islamic extremism "far right," politicians that support and excuse it are Democrats like Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talaib & AOC
The @seattletimes is trying to paint Muhammad Zahid Chaudhry as a sympathetic. As always, they aren't telling you about his criminal history and his family's support of terror.
Here is why you should cancel your subscription:
He was a taxi driver in Australia. A customer didn’t have money & left their passport as a promise to return with cash. Mahammad tried to use it to open a bank account & obtain medical benefits. He also used a credit card that wasn’t his & was criminally convicted but didn't mention it on his US visa application
His wife Melissa ran for Congress in 2024 and her only issue seemed to be hatred of Israel & Jews. She supported the Gaza encampment at @UW
was endorsed by some of the most antisemitic voices in Washington including Han Tran, Rami Al Kabra & Yasmin Trudeau
🧵DEVELOPING: Attorneys for an illegal alien who was convicted of killing a WA State Trooper are trying to get the case dismissed on the eve of sentencing claiming prosecutors violated WA's sanctuary state laws by allegedly cooperating with federal immigration officials.
Raul Benitez-Santana, a Mexican national & repeat criminal offender who was in the US illegally, was convicted earlier this month of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault for fatally striking Trooper Chris Gadd while driving intoxicated at 107 mph on the shoulder of I-5.
According to court documents obtained by @JeremyHarrisTV the prosecution argued in a response to the motion that the defense failed to show any coordination between prosecutors and ICE rose to a level that would violate Washington law or constitutional protections.
