SitRep - 28/01/24 - Russians advanced in the Kharkiv region.

An overview of the daily events of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. A small hamlet fell under Russian control. Russia is stepping up while Ukraine is feeling the shortages.. US and EU, hurry!

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We also include visual confirmed losses or attacks on Russian equipment/personnel.
Overnight, half of the launched Shahed drones were shot down. Unfortunately, ballistic missiles damaged civilian infrastructure on several places in Ukraine.
During the day a Kh-59 was shot down over the Dnipropetrovsk region
A Russian BMP-1 destroyed north of Stepove.
Longer version of a video that included a TOS-1A. In the longer version, several other pieces of equipment are destroyed
A group of Russian soldiers gets hit by an FPV drone in the direction of Kreminna.
On the left bank, Russians that try to hide themself close(r) to Ukrainian troops are being targeted by FPV drones. Russians have complained a lot recently about the amount of FPV drones circling above their heads.
Initially reported as BMP-1, but it is a BMP-2 that was destroyed.

➡️Russian forces have taken control of Tabaivka, Ukrainian sources confirm.
➡️Ukrainian forces are pounding the area with artillery in an attempt to stop further advancement and stabilizing the situation.

Kreminna-Yampolivka

➡️Russians have stepped up their offensive actions towards Yampolivka-Terny in the last couple of days. A fairly big mechanized attack was repelled earlier this week and now also a new attack was repulsed towards Yampolivka. Image

The moment the plane crashed was caught on video. It seems the plane already occurred severe damage before going down to the ground.

The plane reportedly crashed near Krivoi in the Bilhorod region. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that an investigation team and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the spot.
