The London-centric focus is clear

Trips to and from Euston and King’s Cross St. Pancras stations look like a giant Pac-Man eating the city’s travellers

Here's Euston:

Meanwhile, there are a distinct lack of connections between Hull in the Northeast and Liverpool

Deakin says his maps make the case for “lots of Crossrails”

Here's Manchester Picaddilly:

Just as important where the tentacles don’t reach

Journeys around South Yorkshire, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield are notably sparse

"How are you going to get across there? Lots of people live there, so they must be travelin... I guess they are taking the car," says Deakin

As well as the infrastructure (and political) choices displayed in the maps, there are some very natty journeys

One of the longest is between Larbert in Scotland and the Isle of Wight (10 hours, nine changes + a ferry)

And Harry Potter fans come from all over to see this
