a thread on why I think Lucifer has autism, adhd and trauma because apparently it's not obvious enough
(I'm not a psychiatrist this is just based off my own experiences and observations)
first the whole thing of him being seen as a troublemaker for thinking differently and having unique dreams and ideas- being excluded for being different isnt exactly a sign of autism but it is something most autistic people including myself go through
theres also his duck collection and how he often thinks out loud while alone as well as practicing what hes going to say to Charlie before answering the phone
theres also the constant zoning out and forgetting what's going on
how he acts in social situations like mimzy talking to him
he talks and does things without a filter and cant really hide his emotions very well- you can easily tell what hes feeling and he struggles to hide it
him doing things while on the phone because of his hyperactivity
the way he talks about heaven and when he tells Charlie he cant go with her definitely feels more like he cant go with her due to trauma rather than some magical barrier
near the ending of episode 8 he struggles to read the room and mirror emotions- offering pancakes to make everyone feel better not quite understanding that's not the best thing to say in the situation
Charlie also displays traits of autism but it seems she may be a lot better at managing herself and has less support needs than her father but it still adds up since autism can be passed down genetically
he constantly has bags under his eyes indicating he rarely sleeps and likely has insomnia which can be linked to trauma or anxiety that comes with autism (I noticed fizzarolli also has this) they are also present in his official render
it this scene it seems like hes so angry hes struggling to get his words out which happens to me a lot
