Today in my thread I'm going to completely analyze the interview between #TuckerCarlson and #Putin and debunk all of Putin's lies using verified facts. Grab a cup of coffee, because this is going to be a long thread, let's go! 1/91 Image
Putin starts with a 30 minute history lesson about Prince Yarsolav and how Ukraine has no country, culture, etc. of its own. How the Russian Empire existed in 862 and celebrated its 1000th anniversary in 1862 and that these are actually the borders of the empire. 2/
Immediately afterwards the lies start. According to Putin, Poland collaborated with Hitler in 1939 and the war is Poland's fault. Hitler offered Poland peace and an alliance, but in return Poland had to return the Danzig corridor to Germany 3/ Image
Of course, Poland refused this, which, according to Putin, started the war. In fact, he justifies Hitler's invasion of Poland. But it gets even more bizarre. Putin claims that the Soviet Union invaded Poland to help Czechoslovakia. 4/
They did this by taking half of Poland, I guess, but Putin leaves out that detail. In his bizarre theory of the “Russian Empire of 1862” he should actually give Kaliningrad back to the Germans. Tucker doesn't ask about this. 5/
Immediately after this, Putin starts his nonsense about the fact that Ukraine is not an independent state because Ukraine was only founded in 1922 under the name of the Soviet Republic of Ukraine. “Those countries including the Black Sea region have no historical connection. 6/
Ukraine has never been a country.” These statements are quite moronic if you look at the UN charter which indicates the borders of countries that are internationally recognized (including by Russia). Russia signed, among other things, the Belazheva Accords (1991), 7/
The Budapest Memorendum (1994) and the Treaty of Friendship between Ukraine and Russia (1997), in each of these treaties, Russia recognized the borders of modern-day Ukraine and endorsed the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as independent. 8/
Putin ofcourse, mentioned nothing about these international treaties and the UN charter that internationally recognizes the borders of countries. Tucker also does not call him out on this, but let’s Putin tell his bullshit story. 9/
Ukraine is a state created by Stalin consisting of historical parts of Russia, Romania, Hungary and Poland. A small part in western Hungary belonged to the Hungarian empire in 1654. According to Putin, Hungary also wants that back. 10/
then Putin told the most unbelievable story ever, it's so bizarre that I'd like to share it with you. Putin made a road trip from Moscow to Kiev in 1980 and then west to the border region with Hungary. 11/
There he saw that all the street names and signs were in two languages, one in Russian and one in a language he did not speak, namely Hungarian. Then he saw three men in suits and asked what they were doing and if they were entertainers. 12/
They answered “What do you mean, what are we doing here? This is our country, we are Hungarians.” Quite impressive for someone who only 25 seconds ago said he doesn't speak Hungarian. What a bizarre coincidental story. 13/
As if the people who live there feel connected to their historical empire from 326 years ago. Bizarre. Of course, Tucker doesn't ask follow-up questions, obviously. 14/
Then Tucker himself comes up with nonsense. He is actually debunked by Putin, which is quite funny. Carlson claims that the US and the West are afraid of Russia, but are not focusing on China at all. Putin says that is not true, but that it is quite the opposite. 15/
Now comes the nonsense that, according to Putin, the West has promised not to expand NATO, which has been debunked several times. See pictures. 16/

After this, Putin comes up with the story about the war in Yugoslavia and that NATO simply bombed Belgrade without approval. Russia protested against this. Putin forgets another important detail, namely that the Serbian regime committed genocide. 17/
Of course, Tucker doesn't ask about this. The United Nations agreed to NATO's mission in Yugoslavia in 1999. Only in the security council did Russia and China voted against this using their VETO. Putin forgets to mention this and Tucker doesn't ask about it. 18/
Putin claims he once asked Bill Clinton to join NATO. Bill Clinton said he thought this was a good idea. However, on the same day in the evening after consultation with the American security services, Clinton said that it was not possible. 19/
Tucker then asks whether Putin was serious about this and whether he actually wanted to join NATO, to which Putin replies: “Look, I just asked if the possibility was there or not,” which is quite hilarious because he doesn't say yes directly. 20/
According to Putin, the reasons why Russia was not allowed to join NATO were because Russia was too big and "has its own opinion", but the actual reasons are slightly different, namely that Russia invaded Chechnya twice, invaded Georgia in 2008, 21/
and invaded Ukraine in 2014. And murdered ex-spies in several NATO countries. Of course, Putin forgets to mention that and Tucker of course doesn't ask about it either. 22/
According to Putin, the US supported Russian opposition militias in the Cacausus and the CIA itself admitted this to the FSB in a message. He did not provide evidence for this statement, Tucker did not ask about it and it is illogical that a security service would admit this. 23/
Putin forgets to mention that the second Chechen war was started by a Russian false flag operation to boost Putin's popularity. The war started because FSB agents planted bombs in apartments in Moscow, killing 300 civilians. 24/
As a result, Putin decided to turn the whole of Grozny into a parking lot. How do we know it was a False Flag operation? Because on September 13, 1999, the chairman of the Duma announced that there was an explosion in Volgodonsk. There was that too…. But only 3 days later. 25/
Chechnya denied being involved, but Russia of course attacked anyway to reincorporate the republic. Two motions for an independent investigation were rejected by the Duma in the year 2000. Do you think Tucker asked about this? Nope. 26/
Because American Presidents reversed their decision twice, namely the first time when Putin asked Clinton whether Russia could become a member of NATO and the second time when the US wanted to design an air defense system together with Europe and Russia, 27/
but ultimately did this without Russia because the CIA and other security services were against this (logical) Putin and Carlson both claim that the US is not led by the President, but by the elite and the security services, which is bizarre. 28/
A President is of course informed by his security services and makes their decision based on those reports. Putin himself does no differently. So in their theory it doesn't matter who is President of the US. 29/
Putin then claims that the conversation between him and Clinton, which he himself started about, was confidential and that he can only tell the details he wants to tell. Tucker, as a die-hard journalist, does not leave it at that and continues to ask questions. Just kidding 30/
After this, Putin talked about how Bush put pressure on European leaders in 2008 to speak out in favor of the possible accession of Georgia and Ukraine to NATO, which many European countries initially opposed, including Germany and France. 31/
Putin finds it absolutely reprehensible that Bush puts pressure on leaders of other countries to make decisions. Putin himself would never do something like that. For example, not with Yanukovich when he blackmailed Yanukovich (and Armenia) in November 2013 into not signing 32/
the EU Association Treaty. which led to Yanukovich reversing his decision and which led to the Maidan protests starting. Tucker called him out on this, nvm he didnt. 33/
Now comes the bullshit that Maidan in 2014 was a coup. Putin himself says: “Maidan 2014 was a coup, but im not going into details”. Like a real journalistic pit bull, Tucker puts him to the test by not interrupting him and letting him finish his bullshit story. 34/
Putin claims that he had agreed with Yanukovich that Yanukovich would not deploy police or soldiers to shut down the protests and according to Putin that did not happen, which is laughable. 35/
On November 30, riot police began cracking down on demonstrators, sparking protests in other cities. On January 16, 2014, Yanukovich signed new laws against demonstrators, which led to new violent protests. 36/
This time there were more than 100,000 demonstrators in Kyiv and on January 21, 3 demonstrators were killed by police violence. After these deaths it escalated until it went all out on February 24 and more than 100 people were killed. 37/
In addition to the police, Yanukovich also paid civilians to fight, called the Titushky. 42 demonstrators were killed by government snipers. Yanukovich then wanted to deploy the army, but the chief of staff refused and offered his resignation. 38/
Many police officers then joined the demonstrators against Yanukovich. Tucker, who was aware of all this, confronted him with the facts by not interrupting him and letting him tell his story. 39/
After this, Putin claims that Ukraine posed a threat to the citizens of Crimea, forcing them to occupy Crimea to protect the population. This, of course, had nothing to do with the fact that Poroshenko wanted to withdraw from the Kharkiv Pact. 40/
in which it has been agreed that Russia may lease the Sevastopol naval base from Ukraine. The same treaty that Russia unilaterally canceled shortly after the occupation of Crimea. According to Putin, Ukraine started the war in the Donbass after the “coup”. 41/
However, the war started when FSB Colonel Igor Girkin occupied government buildings in the Donbass with armed militants on April 6. Only after Girkin ordered the execution of civilians, including a 19-year-old girl, did Ukraine decide to send troops to the Donbass. 42/
How do we know that? Girkin simply admitted that. Putin claims that after the agreement that was reached with the help of the EU, called “the agreement on the settlement of the political crisis in Ukraine", the opposition deposed Yanukovich. However, that is not true. 43/ Image
Yanukovich fled to Russia and, unable to fulfill his duties, the Ukrainian parliament unanimously decided to remove him from power according to the Ukrainian constitution. Of course, Tucker didn't say anything. 44/
Image
Image
After this, Putin says that Russia never agreed to allow Ukraine to become a member of NATO. Putin forgets to mention that Ukraine is sovereign and does not need Russia's permission on how Ukraine wants to organize its defense policy. 45/
Putin also contradicts himself with a 2002 statement saying that the decision between Ukraine joining NATO is between just those two partners. The statement below can be found at . 46/ en.kremlin.ru
Image
According to Putin, the current government of Ukraine does not want to implement the Minsk agreements. However, he then admits that Russia was ready to implement the agreements, which means that he admits that he also implemented the agreements himself. 47/
The main point of the Minsk agreements was that Ukraine would gain control over all of Ukraine and that Russia would withdraw its troops. That never happened. 48/
According to Putin, he started the war to stop the war (top logic). Between 2014 and 2021, a total of 14,000 deaths occurred, including 3,404 civilians. In 2021, this was “only” 44 citizens. From February to May 2022, more than 4,000 civilian deaths occurred in the Donbass alone
Image
Image
Nearly 400,000 soldiers are now dead on the Russian side and around 120,000 on the Ukrainian side. We went from 14,000 deaths in 7 years to over 500,000 deaths in 2 years. Tucker didn't ask anything again. (I'm in word on page 7/17), refill your coffee if you need ;). 50/
Now Putin is making a bizarre claim, namely that an agreement was made in Istanbul. As a result, according to Putin, the Russian army left Kyiv completely voluntarily (not at all because their invasion plan failed, the 40 km convoy was without supplies, 51/
and all their elite troops near Hostomel airport were destroyed and that the airport became unusable for Russian troops to land due to Ukrainian artillery, so they had to call off that operation. 52/
Putin claims that as soon as Russian troops withdrew, Ukraine threw the deal in the trash. However, he himself says that it was not yet a final agreement, but that it was on its way. 53/
If it was still a final agreement, why would he already implement part of his obligations, namely the withdrawal of troops from Kyiv? Strange logic. In addition, Putin claims that Zelensky does not want to negotiate directly with him and that is his demand. 54/
This is very ironic because on March 21, Zelensky called on Putin to negotiate directly with him, but Putin refused.
Anyway, I'll come back to this later. 55/ Image
Then Putin suddenly claims that Ukrainians in Poland have previously been treated poorly. He forgets to mention that during the Holodomor 5 million Ukrainians died from Stalin's famine. 56/
After this, Putin claims that Ukraine is not actively fighting Nazis, but that Russia is. That is complete bullshit because Russia uses neo-Nazi movements for political purposes. And Wagner used PMC (which was founded by a neo-Nazi) to fight. 57/
His evidence that Ukraine and the West support Nazis is that the Canadian parliament applauded a Ukrainian who served in the SS. Putin claims that this man himself committed war crimes. However, his unit has been acquitted of war crimes. 58/
Image
Image
Moreover, Ukrainians who served in the German army and the SS were not motivated by ideology, but purely for independence from Russia. Which exactly matches the story of Yaroslav Hunke himself. 59/ Image
In fact, Russia deliberately spreads this type of propaganda under the name Operation Payback to portray Ukrainian veterans as Nazi sympathizers, which is completely unjustified. Putin forgets to mention that. Of course, Tucker doesn't ask. 60/ Image
Putin also forgets to mention that between 600,000 and 1.4 million Russians served in the Wehrmacht. In addition to the fact that in the "east legions" the majority were ethnically Russian, which alone included 250,000 volunteers and a total of 1 million USSR citizens. 61/ Image
Then the “Russian liberation army” at its peak, 120,000 Russian soldiers who fought for the Nazis, the 29th Waffen-Grenadier SS division RONA, 10-12K Russians. And much more. A lot more than the 20,000 Ukrainians who served in the Wehrmacht and the SS. 62/ Image
Putin then claims that if the US stops supplying weapons, the war will be over in a few weeks. Which is kind of funny considering the US hasn't delivered any weapons since the end of December, which was almost 6 weeks ago and the war is still going on. 63/
Putin then says that NATO countries are scaring their people by stating that there is a risk of (nuclear) war. Which is quite funny because there are daily threats to the West with nuclear weapons on Russian state TV. Some examples of Officials: 64/
Image
Image
After this, the conversation about the Nordstream 2 pipeline begins. Tucker asks why Putin doesn't show evidence that the US blew up the pipeline as he claims. Putin laughs and answers that everyone knows who it was without providing evidence. 65/
Many people think that Russia has no motive to do this, but that is incorrect. By blowing up the pipeline they will not be fined billions because they cannot meet their agreed energy deliveries to Germany. 66/
Putin then claims that Ukraine has closed the Russian pipeline from Russia to Germany via Ukraine against Germany's wishes, which is bizarre because Germany itself wants to get rid of Russian energy. 67/
Putin then asks whether the US has other problems such as the high national debt and the border with Mexico. Which is ironic because Russia itself is full of unresolved problems such as corruption, no sanitation in much of the country. 68/
After this, Putin claims that the US is isolating itself from the world through sanctions, which is quite ironic because this is precisely Trump's entire campaign (America First). 69/
According to Putin, unlike that of the US, China's foreign policy is not aggressive. That is why they are not hostile in the South China Sea, with their claims on certain areas that do not belong to China and threaten Taiwan every other week. 70/
Putin then claims that the Russian economy has become the largest economy in Europe during times of war and under harsh sanctions. However, when we look at the GDP of the countries, Germany, England, France and Italy are all above Russia. 71/ Image
Putin then arbitrarily claims that Indonesia has 600 million inhabitants and is a global leading economy. While Indonesia has 273 million inhabitants. And GDP is in 16th place (the Netherlands is in 18th). Bizarre. 72/
Then Putin claims that in Ukraine there were laws against Russian speakers, but this is not true. 73/ Image
Putin then talks about his conversations with Zelensky. He says he talked about Zelensky's father and that his father served in the Red Army and fought against the Germans. However, this was not Zelensky's father, but his grandfather. 74/
Then he says and I quote “I asked him Volodymir, why do you support neo Nazis in Ukraine, I will not tell you what he answered” wtf. No idea why he brings this up and then doesn't give the answer. Tucker…. Of course, don't ask. 75/
According to Putin, Zelensky won the 2019 elections because he promised peace to the people. However, Zelensky did not promise peace, but promised to resolve the conflict, which he also tried. 76/
Now Putin is returning to the negotiations in Istanbul. He claims that the negotiator on behalf of Ukraine publicly admitted that the reason for withdrawing from the negotiations was that Biden's Boris Johnson had to go to Kyiv. 77/
to tell them to keep fighting. However, in the same public statement, which can be found on the Internet, the Ukrainian negotiator gives four other reasons why Ukraine withdrew from the negotiations. 78/

Image
Image
Image
Image
The negotiator himself confirms this and indicates that no agreement could be reached in Istanbul because he is not authorized to sign it.

Of course, Putin does not mention these reasons and Tucker does not ask about them either. 79/ Image
Putin then says that Russia has expanded and made other countries into its own empire with other cultures in it, such as Muslims and Buddhists. This is quite ironic because at the beginning he claimed that Russia only adhered to the borders. 80/
of the Russian Empire with Russian-speaking and an Orthodox culture. So he's contradicting himself here. He then says that all these people, and therefore residents of present-day Russia, see Russia as their motherland. 81/
which is also ironic because in his moronic anecdote about the “Hungarians he met in Ukraine” he claimed that those Hungarians saw the area where they lived as Hungarian territory because it was part of Hungary in 1654. Completely schizophrenic. 82/
In addition, Russia mainly uses ethnic minorities in the war against Ukraine and hardly any ethnic Russians from Moscow and Saint Petersburg. 83/ Image
After an hour and 40 minutes, Tucker asks his first critical question, namely why Putin, as a Christian, has no problem with killing people. Putin says the answer is easy and that he is protecting his family and motherland (from Ukraine???). 84/
Finally, Tucker asks Putin if he can release an American journalist held in captivity in Russia. Putin claims this was a spy without showing proof and Putin then comes up with a laughable whatabautism comparison. 85/
He says that a Russian was arrested in Europe for killing someone. According to Putin, that person was a terrorist in the Caucasus who had killed Russian soldiers. He compares holding a journalist captive to holding a murderer captive. 86/
Afterwards, Tucker and Putin both claim that Ukraine is a satellite state of the US, which is quite strange because the US is not actively defending Ukraine and is not even supporting it militarily at the moment. 87/
According to both, the US has power in Ukraine and not the Ukrainian government. Which is also strange because Putin just referred to negotiations with Ukraine, but then why doesn't he negotiate directly with the US? 88/
Tucker has not once interrupted Putin or asked a critical question, has not verified any facts and has only let Putin tell his propaganda story. Tucker is not a journalist. And luckily he thinks so too, because in the lawsuit between Fox and Dominion 89/
which cost Fox $800 million because Tucker spread disinformation about Dominion software fraud for the elections, he claims he is not a journalist himself, but an entertainer so people should not expect facts from him. 90/
Source:
And now after 91 pages all Putin his bullshit claims and propaganda have been debunked. Enjoy the read, enjoy the weekend and feel free to use any of this information to debunk any propagandists including @TuckerCarlson himself.

Lets find out! 🧵1/32 Image

Lets go! 1/12

Er is namelijk weer veel desinformatie hierover dus Lets go! 1/24

3/ Image
