Last night’s @TuckerCarlson's interview with Putin shows that Russia is open to a peace agreement, while it is DC warmongers who want to prolong the war.
That is why I’m voting to stop 60 BILLION MORE of our tax dollars to this conflict.
When @JoeBiden took office, he promised that “diplomacy is back.”
Three years later, he has still not delivered.
Per @nytimes, even our weapons IN ISRAEL are going to Ukraine.
This is blatant money laundering.
Aid to Israel’s war against the terrorists needs to STAY in Israel and be used against the terrorists. nytimes.com/2023/01/17/us/…

🧵BREAKING: we uncovered @SecDef’s plan to fund thousands of abortions a year. Not only is this a severe misuse of taxpayer dollars, it’s illegal. I will hold him accountable.
@SecDef If Secretary Austin wants to change the law, he should do it through Congress. But he’s going around Congress to enact a taxpayer-funded abortion policy – including late term abortions.
Americans want a strong military focused on keeping them safe, but @DeptofDefense leadership is distracted by radical liberal priorities.
Yesterday was a sad day for our great country. I strongly condemn the violence and actions we saw from those who stormed the Capitol. It undermines the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, and it has no place in our democracy.
The integrity of our elections is vital to our country. I have serious concerns that the states of Arizona and Pennsylvania did not act in accordance with their own duly enacted laws when conducting this election.
Because I promised to raise these concerns on behalf of my constituents, I voted against seating the electors from Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Tomorrow afternoon I will join Senator Ted Cruz in objecting to Electoral College results from Arizona, and I am carefully considering additional states that may require my objection.
In our country, elections are generally governed by the individual states, but there are serious questions about whether, for example, Arizona’s electors were selected in accordance with the duly enacted laws of the State of Arizona, which is a requirement of the Constitution.
Elections are too important to allow significant deviations from state law, and I am hopeful that the process tomorrow will at least shine a bright light on the need to investigate potential wrongdoing and to propose reforms.
