How to handle people who want more than you can give. π§΅
The year I was diagnosed with Lupus after a battery of tests & examinations with raging flare ups in what seemed to be never ending, my available spoons were very limited. Most of my family, friends, and colleagues were understanding and supported my limited capacity.
However, a few relationships became strained because I couldn't play the same role as before.
One of those relationships was with a close friend from high school. She had an awful childhood and her parents were garbage, always choosing her brother over her.
This 13 year old boy was groomed live on Twitter for months by a 26 y/o man @ HunterFloofyFox real name Tadashi Kojima formerly Aaron Michael Zeman.
The parents and police contacted Twitter with a warrant. Twitter didn't get back to them, the boy was kidnapped.
During this time, Elon Musk had purchased Twitter and fired staff that would have directly worked in this area, of child safety and protection.
The boy is home with his parents and HunterFloofyFox has been arrested and charged with 4 counts of sexual assault and Federal kidnapping charges. nbcnews.com/tech/social-meβ¦
