Entry Patterns in 5 Steps

A Thread 🧵 Image
Step 1 - We identify a PD Array that we will be trading off of. Image
Step 2 - We wait for price to tap into the PD Array with a fair value gap. Image
Step 3 - After this we wait for price to react off of the PD Array with a new fair value gap. Image
Step 4 - Then there are 3 steps to our Entry Variation. Image
Step 4.1 - The first Entry Variation is if the FVG off of the PD Array is a breakaway gap. Image
Step 4.2 - The second Entry Variation is if the FVG off of the PD Array is a normal fair value gap. Image
Step 4.3 - The third Entry Variation is if we want to enter on the creation of the FVG in order to get a quick entry. Image
Creating a simple and effective Entry Pattern is key for your trading 📈 Image

High Probability Conditions happen Fast

This is because Price and Time are in alignment

Let me explain👇
When price is ready it means we’re coming off of a PD Array and we just have our usual Entry Pattern

Everybody has a good understanding of what Price should look like

Price always has a tendency to look “clean”

But some days / sessions are higher probability to play out then others, why?
This is where Time comes in

Time is the volatility, the energy of the market.

When price is ready, it already has the intention to move higher / lower

But without time it’s higher probability that it will consolidate or fail to make the push

Don't get Trapped in 50/50 Price Action

DXY for example

Let me explain 6 steps👇 Image
1. To Seek and Destroy Traders, this Price Action is lovely and they're bound to make Profits

But, if you rely on bigger price movements / more of a Trend then this is the worst place to be
2. Whenever we come into a Premium Array, in this case the Monthly FVG

We will reject off of the Monthly FVG, potentially continuing lower

But on the way to continue lower we will encounter a first Resistance area, in this case the Daily FVG

Price doesn’t always follow through

So play the rejection and target 1:2 in the Context

What is Context?👇
Context is the PD Array you’re trading off of, not where you’re taking an Entry.

But the HTF / MTF PD Array price came into before you went into your confirmation Time Frame

👇
That PD Array is called your Context Boundary

That PD Array will get at least a rejection, but it can follow through to the Context Target.

You don’t need

Open Interest
COT
Ipda Data Ranges
CBDR
Name something

You need more FVGs

Let me explain again👇
If you use any of the above and they make you money, great I’m very happy for you.

But, if you use these and are struggling then I would suggest dropping them

Why?
Most of the concepts here are irrelevant if you use FVGs.

The FVGs will tell you in the exact same moment what price will want to do. By creating new FVGs and by the lack of creating new FVGs.
