An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Syrskyi confirmed the AFU withdrew all troops from Avdiivka, skirmishes near Robotyne, lost Russian jets and the Munich Security Conference.

A long SitRep today, because much happened. As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Another oil depot in the Kursk region was attacked. Almost every night, somehwere in Russia an oil depot lights up.
Near Bilohorivka, tanks, BMP's, MT-LB's. Everything destroyed.
A big hit on Russian fighter jets. During the day, Air Force commander Oleschuk confirmed they had shot down three Russian fighter jets (!)
Russian channels started confirming losses after initially Fighterbomber (Russian Air Force affiliated channel) denied such claims.
Commander Oleschuk gave some extra details, showing a map with radar beacon signals from Russian pilots in an emergency.
During the evening, footage emerged from Luhansk, showing a Russian fighter jet crashing to the ground.
Lets continue with the general events. A lot happened today! In Germany, the Munich Security Conference started with attendees from all over the world. Early this morning a first meeting with a US delegation was held by MFA Kuleba.
Zelenskyi gave a speech and was interviewed right after. A summary: Ukraine can win, but the West and other allies should not let us down.
Kaja Kallas spoke the right words about Putin.
As if the disgrace in his own country was not great enough, a Republican senator here also tried to save face and that of the GOP by taking up the 'border problem' in America and set it as a high (if not the highest) priority.
Scholz, despite all the things that Germany is doing for Ukraine, is now simply avoiding the Taurus subject. What for. Do you want Ukraine to win or not?
Dutch PM Rutte, who will high likely be the new NATO boss, spoke true words about EU defense spending.
Zelenskyi met a lot of people in Munich, starting with the Danish delegation.
He spoke with Aliyev from Azerbaijjan.
Rutte, after talking to the crowd, met with Zelenskyi and spoke about the urgent needs. The Netherlands is a true ally to Ukraine.
Zelenskyi also spoke to a US delegation from Congress. Expressing the need and the concern about the US aid package which is still being held up, now by a recess/holiday...
Best news today. Czech PM Peter Pavel announced that his country including The Netherlands, Denmark and Canada searched the global market for private companies owning artillery shells. The result? 800K shells for Ukraine which CAN be transferred!
Dutch PM Rutte commented on the transfer of F-16's to Ukraine. They are on schedule, but when to expect them? Unclear.

Something tells me the moment is very near..
Zelenskyi commented on a call he made with Biden today.
AI drone swarms? It could happen very soon.

Sweden is on the verge of being accepted into NATO. Hungary said it is close to ratification which means positive news for Ukraine in terms of JAS-39 Gripen Fighter jets.

Avdiivka.

All has been said about Avdiivka, the city is lost and occupied. Most forces were withdrawn. Yes, there were losses but in general, most troops got out. Covered by the heroes of the 3rd separate assault brigade, SSO and several other units.

Robotyne

Previously, information emerged that Russia had accumulated forces south of Robotyne. Today, they started assaulting Robotyne coming from the south. A first mechanized assault was repelled.
From the Russian side, footage was released as well. Indicating not much else than an attack. They deliberately cut the footage, that is one thing for sure.

US Senate has just resumed consideration of the aid package to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan. Image
Senator Rand Paul is now speaking. He can speak for a full hour and will probably do so. Calling it a 'talking filibuster'. Rand is one of the most fierce opposers of aid to Ukraine. During the beginning of his speech he said that 'Democrats and Republicans together will fly to Kyiv and hand over the money, mabey even in cash'.Image
