The email to staff from the Denton ISD director links to this website telling people who to vote FOR/AGAINST.

The email linked to "Texans for Public Education" telling people how to vote.
From the leader of that group on their FB page yesterday: "Okay, folks, we are locked and loaded for the upcoming primaries. With only a few exceptions, we will be voting in the Republican primary."
Another post from their FB page telling members to vote in the Republican primary: "Republican Proposition 11 Is an opportunity to let your voice be heard on the school voucher issue. If the only reason you vote in the Republican primary is to vote on that proposition, do it!"

NEW STUDY: School choice doesn't lead to tuition increases.
"Data analysis from the past decade reveals that tuition inflation was lower in states that adopted school choice policies (about 15%, on average) than in states without school choice (about 28%, on average)."
"The data show that, overall, the adoption of private school choice policies does not elevate tuition rates. If anything, the estimated effect shows that enacting school choice results in private schools charging lower tuitions than they otherwise would" heritage.org/education/repo…
"When private schools get additional revenue from choice subsidies that exceed their marginal cost of education, it reduces their per pupil cost of education and allows them to pass along savings to families." heritage.org/education/repo…
