Firstly, there was many rumors around November-December promoted by zionists that Ansarallah are planning to attack the cables in the red sea.

The two main culprits who have relentlessly spread this lie and leeched on to the claim by “Globes” are the Zionist channels “Al-Hadth” and “Sky News Arabia” (in addition to lesser known gulf news outlets)
If you’re unaware, sky news Arabia is jointly owned by a member of the Emirati ruling family, Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

This is not the first time these channels purport such unfounded claims, Al-Hadath recently accused Ansarallah of “taking revenues” from European ships to allow them to cross.

Nothing of this incident points to a “Houthi” attack, and the cables will never be a target as it has been emphasized by the “Houthis” many times over. The channels spreading this are attempting to distort the operations in the Red Sea
The purpose of this distortion is to evoke fierce reactions to the operations, and possibly expand the current coalition to escalate the bombing compaigns on Yemen.
A sabotage operation on the cables is nonetheless very much likely, but it’s vital to not attribute them to Ansarallah, as they have highlighted that these cables are not in their list of targets.
It’s more important to be wary of those channels and not carelessly spread any claims that they publish—as they’ve always openly broadcasted and endorsed zionist claims, and their stance is very clear against Yemen’s operations.
