SitRep - 26/02/24 - Sjeverne and Lastochkyne confirmed lost

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The AFU confirmed it has withdrawn from Lastochkyne, Sjeverne is also lost and Sweden will join NATO... JAS-39 Gripen talks soon?

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours.
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight. Most non-ballistic missiles and drones were taken down.
A BMP-3 was taken down by an RPG-7 grenade launcher in the Robotyne direction.
A Russian base with UAV operators inside was targetted.
Another explosion followed by a big fire in Makiivka. The occupied twin city of Donetsk is subject to a lot of strikes lately. Mainly aimed for oil depots.
Airburst FPV's are being spotted more and more along the Ukrainian front lines.
Near Robotyne, two Russian T-80s and another IFV destroyed.
Lets continue with the general events. Biden will once again meet congressional leaders in an attempt to get the additional funding for Ukraine moving.
Prime Minister of Bulgaria visited Ukraine. He later met with Zelenskyi.
Spiegel reported that Ukraine will receive 120.000 122-mm ammunition as soon as possible. These are bought by Germany from Bulgaria. Also, several other EU countries are attempting to buy more 122/155mm shells for Ukraine.
Kuleba with a fair request, which probably will not happen.
Zelenskyi confirmed Ukraine and France are in talks over French fighter planes. Likely the Mirage2000D.
Borrell will aim to create a new fund for Ukraine to develop more drones and AI technology.
Taurus - for now - is really out of the question.
Expected. The first M1A1 Abrams tank loss confirmed.
Ukraine is working to get one of their airports resume operations. Likely, this is Lviv Intl. Airport.
Sweden will become a member of NATO after Hungary ratified its accession. This will also open the door to JAS-39 Gripen fighter jet talks with Ukraine. Swedish opposition is already pushing for it. The Swedish government will likely support it.
Germany updated their aid supplied to Ukraine.
Zelenskyi may visit both Armenia and Azerbaijan soon.
Negotiations with Norway on security agreements are underway.

The situation west of Avdiivka rapidly changes due to Russian advances. This mainly has to do with Ukrainian forces abandoning forward positions to retreat to better defensive lines.
