Report: 🚨🧵In 2019, Jayson Boebert reported no earnings.

However, in 2020, after Lauren Boebert's election victory, he secured employment with Terra Energy Partners, receiving an annual salary of $460,000.

Company documents connect Lauren Boebert with her spouse's consultancy for the natural gas industry.

Over two years, Jayson Boebert disclosed earnings close to $1 million from a natural gas extraction firm active in the Western Slope, as reported by the Garfield County Republican.Image
Records indicate that the Garfield County Republican is the registered agent for JLB903 LLC, which in turn represents Boebert Consulting, as verified by The Colorado Sun through document examination, information from Boebert’s office, and a recent financial disclosure by the congresswoman.
This disclosure raises further questions about the financial dealings of the Boeberts and their intimate relationship with the oil and gas sector, which has faced heightened scrutiny from critics lately. Although the congresswoman’s office stated she was not an employee of Boebert Consulting, it remained silent on her ownership status within the company.
The need for Boebert to reveal additional household income arose alongside inquiries from the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) this week, which sought clarification on a series of campaign transactions.

Specifically, the FEC questioned why the campaign transferred $6,000 to Boebert through four separate Venmo transactions on May 3 and June 3. The campaign responded to the FEC stating these transactions were mistakes and had been refunded.
In her earlier disclosure, Boebert listed her income as deriving from a gun-themed restaurant and an associated smokehouse she operates with her husband in Rifle, labeling her husband’s income source under “Boebert Consulting — spouse” as “N/A.”
Kedric Payne, a former Office of Congressional Ethics deputy chief counsel now with the Campaign Legal Center, remarked that Boebert ought to have fully disclosed her husband’s income sources last year.
According to Payne, the disclosure discrepancies do not align with previous filings. Ben Stout, Boebert’s deputy chief of staff, noted that Mr. Boebert has been involved in energy production for 18 years and established Boebert Consulting in 2012, directing any further inquiries about the congresswoman’s finances to her recent disclosure.
There is no entity named Terra Energy Productions registered in the state. However, Terra Energy Partners, a Houston-based company and one of Colorado’s largest natural gas producers, is significantly active in Boebert’s district but did not respond to contact attempts.
Boebert’s tenure in Congress has been marked by controversy, from her insistence on carrying a firearm into the House chamber, challenging President Joe Biden’s election victory in two states, to her dynamic engagement on social media.
Her financial disclosures revealed her restaurant, Shooters Grill, incurred losses of $143,000 in 2019 and $226,000 in 2020.

Her campaign was partially motivated by her opposition to lockdowns at the pandemic’s outset, arguing they posed a threat to businesses like hers.

The families of Sandy Hook school shooting victims have overwhelmingly voted in favor of a plan to conclude Alex Jones’ bankruptcy proceedings by liquidating the assets of the right-wing talk show host.

Jones’ general unsecured creditors, primarily Sandy Hook families holding approximately $1.5 billion in defamation judgments against him, unanimously supported a Chapter 11 plan.

This plan aims to systematically liquidate and distribute Jones’ property and cash while preserving potential legal actions against entities affiliated with Jones and his Infowars program.Image
An official committee representing Jones’ unsecured creditors informed the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on February 16 that out of the 23 liquidation plan ballots distributed, 21 were returned—all in favor of the committee’s liquidation proposal.
