Recently, it has been humorously observed that an aerial view of Venice bears a striking resemblance to "Patrick getting dehydrated."

However, this magnificent Italian city, founded on March 25, 421 AD, has been compared for many years to various natural shapes: most notably a swan and a fish.

Michelangelo completed the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in just four years, all while standing on a scaffold of his own design.

These are the modern tools used today to restore one of the greatest masterpieces of all time - a thread ๐Ÿงต Image
Every year, for more than a decade now, a meticulous five-week-long process unfolds: from 7 pm until late into the night, a team of specialists completes a myriad of tasks aimed at safeguarding the timeless frescoes adorning the Sistine Chapel. Image
The human body produces both heat and carbon dioxide.

To protect the artwork from damage caused by large crowds of visitors, the team cleans the frescoes and removes contaminants using a crane-like machine nicknamed "Spider", a Multitel SMX250 self-propelled tracked platform. Image
