Seasonal flu remains elevated in large parts of the U.S., except in the northwest where flu levels are low. Nationwide, cases and hospital admissions are mostly stable though increasing in some areas.
The CDC estimates that, so far this season, 28 million people have been infected with influenza, causing 310,000 hospitalizations and 20,000 deaths, including 103 children.
