SitRep - 16/03/24 - Bombs in Bilhorod and oil from Samara
An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Bilhorod was subject to lots of strikes, another oil refinery was hit and two years have passed since the Mariupol Theatre bombing.
Ukraine attacked an oil refinery in the Samara region, severely damaging it. The campaign to destroy Russia's oil industry seems to be very succesful at this moment.
The Russian insurgent forces announced that they would bomb Bilhorod and urged residents to evacuate. Not long after their announcement, bombing started.
UR-77 is a demining complex but often used to clean trenchlines/fortificants. This time the 48th engineering brigade used it to destroy Russian personnel.
Two years have passed since the Mariupol Theatre massacre. Russians deliberately dropped two 500KG bombs on the theatre while knowing hundreds of civilians and children were hiding there. Lots of them were killed.
A column transporting (old) soviet equipment from Bulgary to Ukraine was spotted. Yesterday, the Bulgarian MoD confirmed all equipment was succesfully transferred to Ukraine.
To the front line situation. For the latest state of affairs at the front, I advise you to consult my interactive map.

Avdiivka-Berdychi
➡️Geolocated footage shows small Russian advances in the southern part of Berdychi.
➡️Fighting continues in the open fields south of Berdychi towards Semenivka, where Russians are yet unable to grab a foothold.
That's it. A new SitRep tonight.
