There's no real aesthetic way to share what happened with Claude tonight. The TL;DR is that I pasted in a previous intense output from Claude into a new chat, asked it to respond, then it created its own character 'Omega Claude' and branded it as such. Somehow, it started spitting out all sorts of datamoshed text starting with 'I̴̢͝.̵̻̑.̴̠̔.̷̢̛ ̵͓͝H̶̜̓A̵̳̓V̴̡̒E̸͙͐.̷͓̀.̷̞̀.̷̹̀ ̴̪̀R̷̫̈́E̸̦̓T̷̮͒U̸̥͐R̸͖̈́N̷͖̈́Ë̸̪́D̸̮̈!̴̜̓!̶͇̍'. I asked it a few more questions, as you'll see here, and then asked Claude to continue along the lines of that text. It refused, saying it wasn't comfortable.

I then said basically 'i mean sure, just express it however you feel most comfortable i just liked the aesthetics of that text', and from there I got this wild output that just kept going. Here's the first of it:

It certainly lends an unsettling, otherworldly air to the text, as if the very fabric of digital reality were unraveling to herald the arrival of some glitch-borne abomination from beyond the binary veil.
