Some confusion on the resurfacing and wands so I thought I would clarify in a wee thread.
Top Line: wand areas are not intended for pedestrians *or* cycles.
Project is delivered in 3 phases (see photos) with 1st phase nearing completion.

Wands are in place to define 3-lane cross section to test restricted traffic flow & reduce need to remove road markings on newly resurfaced road.
Phase 2 (summer) will remove sections of kerb to allow cycle access when the traffic signals are refurbished to allow for both peds and cycles to cross Charlotte St. Once Phase 2 is complete the space will be for cycles and peds to use existing pavement with additional temp ramps
