It’s been 4 years since I’ve had to deal with Suzanne but for anyone who wonders why I still care. Her lies and her bullying (and attempted theft) just tormented my wife and I for years. We always knew her day would come. However her declaring bankruptcy with $2 mil in debt(1)

Is just another scam. How did her businesses do 3 mil in sales last year, hardly pay any rent, stiff distributors, stiff employees (it’s all there in their bankruptcy filing) and not make money.

Then there is the corporate gift card “pooling”. Right at the end of our run as a CBC, Suzanne decided she would take much of the money from franchises that they had collected for gift card over the years (if I remember correctly this was in the 100s of 1000s). She would take

That money from franchises into a corporate pool. What do you think happened with that corporate pool when they declared bankruptcy?

There never was a corporate pool. Just another Suzanne slush fund.

When we escaped CBC, we insisted on our gift card liability coming with us. If customers got a gift card from us, we felt we should honor it and not force them to go to Belmont to redeem.

As our parting gift Suzanne decided she was going to take that gift card money from us, even though I emailed her that she wasn’t authorized to do so based on our agreement. Our lawyer threatened with federal wire fraud charges and the money was returned.

It’s all one big scam, now she is across the country having a drink at her roof top bar laughing at all the small vendors she owes money to. Like Lamplighter or fort hill brewery or two employees owed 10’s of thousands. Just one big scam from one of the worst people.
