Ronna McDaniel absurdly claims on Meet the Press she "had to remain neutral" during the primary -- she literally called on Haley to get out of the race!

WELKER: It is appropriate for Trump to ask donors to pay for his legal bills?

McDANIEL: Well, I think as long as the donors know that that's what they're doing.

WELKER: One RNC member says 'you're a failed chair.' Did you deserve to stay on with that track record?

McDANIEL: I push back on that very hard. The fact that under my time as chair we've had more women in Congress ever than in the history of our party ...

McDaniel indicates she does not agree with Trump that the J6 criminals should be pardoned, but adds that she'll still vote for him

McDaniel claims (absurdly) that Trump didn't "push" for January 6 to happen, when in reality Trump incited it

McDaniel says she has no regrets about participating in Trump's pressure campaign to try to overturn his 2020 loss in Michigan

Pressed by Welker, McDaniel does acknowledge that Biden beat Trump "fait and square"

McDaniel distances herself from her lies about the 2020 election being rigged, saying it was "a long time ago -- three and a half years ago."

McDANIEL: Voters right now in this country are going to be making a choice in November and they don't care about 2020.

WELKER: A lot of people say that it's fundamental to our country's democracy.

McDANIEL: I think they're thinking about inflation, the border, crime ...
