1/8 As much as I am repealed by the Multicam plague, it is decisive to understand the present and future importance of that camouflage.
In this list, we're going to focus on multiple differences in colour or pattern on Multicam based uniforms.
2/8 Original pattern:
This pattern refers to users of genuinine Crye branded multicam, or domestically produced without any derivation from the original design.
3/8 Derivative pattern:
This one includes the Crye licence mixed with domestic customization, with changes to colourway, patterns or layers.
4/8 However, certain armies have special uniforms for their elite units, so certain SOF might use a Multicam while their conventional peers might just stick with their traditional camouflage. Russia and Sweden match perfectly with this example.
5/8 Additionally, while some forces might fully adopt the multicam for their conventional use, others reserve it uniquely for SOF. Here's a chart classifying is usage:
