SitRep - 28/03/24 - Russia lost a Su-27 over Crimea

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In occupied Crimea, Russia lost a Su-27, likely shot down by own air defense. What is air defense doing? This is what air defense is doing.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include footage of visually destroyed equipment or personnel.
Overnight, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and a small amount of missiles.
Went in as a duo, came back solo. Russian infantry survival rate in Avdiivka is so low due to continous Ukrainian FPV drones buzzing in the skies.
Several pieces of heavy equipment destroyed by airdrops.
In Crimea, Russia lost a Su-27 fighter jet. High likely due to its own air defense.
The loss was confirmed by Russian Air Force affiliated channel fighterbomber. Well, it was kind of hard to deny this.
Another example of JDAM/AASM in the Kherson region. A UAV operator house literally dissapeared after impact.
A very high valuable radar destroyed by a simple FPV drone.
Lets continue with the general events. More EP members are urging to speed up the accession procedure for Ukraine into the EU.
Proposals in regards to the procurement of weapons for Ukraine in the EU are expected in April, as well as a possible deal regarding the new tranche of EU money to Ukraine which is being blocked by Hungary at this moment.
I will just leave this here.
The Ukrainian drone campaign to destroy Russian oil refineries is paying off.
Sanctions against Russia which were recently imposed around diamonds are also paying off.
Germany updated their aid supplied to Ukraine and also pledged more to be delivered in the near future.
After several meetings, Ukraine and Poland signed a joint statement with a lot of intentions and agreements.
Zelenskyi, in an interview with CBS, was very clear: we need western support, now more than ever.
Zelenskyi spoke with US House Speaker Johnson by phone. The Speaker, who deliberately holds back a vote on aid to Ukraine, was told how urgent the US aid is needed right now.
Not 800.000 but 1 million shells will be arriving in Ukraine. A lot of them already in April. Gigachad Petr Pavel.

SitRep - 23/03/24 - Missile strikes in occupied Crimea
