1 of 11/  Body Language Analysis No. 4733: Donald Trump quotes from "Two Corinthians"  – Nonverbal and Emotional Intelligence #DonaldTrump #Bibles #BodyLanguageExpert #BodyLanguage
2 of 11/ It's Holy Week for Christians and Donald Trump is hawking Bibles. Many of us are reminded of a particular event back in 2016, when Trump quoted from the Bible – from what he said was "Two Corinthians" (rather than "Second Corinthians").
3 of 11/ Note Trump's right hand, specifically his right index finger as he says, "because I hear" ... Image
4 of 11/ ("And I, I asked Jerry [Falwell, Jr.], and I asked some of the folks because I hear this is a major theme right here but [pause] Two Corinthians, right? Two Corinthians – 3:17, that's the whole ball game ...") Image
5 of 11/ Notice how Trump retracts the power digit (the right index finger, aka forefinger) on his dominant hand as he's gesturing – but all the other digits remain extended...
6 of 11/ ... This configuration is the exact opposite of the hyper-dominant index finger point, where the index finger (aka forefinger) is extended, while all the other digits are contracted (in flexion).
7 of 11/ Trump displays this classic body language tell quite often. He's contracting his most dominant digit because he's lying.
8 of 11/ SUMMARY: It's obvious Trump was lying with regard to any familiarity with the Bible by saying "Two Corinthians" rather than "Second Corinthians". Trump's body language indicates deception as well.
9 of 11/ Keep in mind that we don't always have such an obvious verbal signal to indicate deception. Moreover, we approach Donald Trump with a high index of suspicion...
10 of 11/ However, if someone you knew and/or otherwise trusted displayed this same nonverbal behavior (or any other telling body language signals), but without such an obvious verbal red flag – ask yourself, would you spot the lie?

1 of 17/  Body Language Analysis No. 4732: Donald Trump selling and endorsing Bibles  – Nonverbal and Emotional Intelligence #Bibles #BodyLanguageExpert #BodyLanguage #DonaldTrump
2 of 17/  Donald Trump posted an ad on his 'Truth Social' yesterday. Trump is not just selling Bibles during holy week – he's only "endorsing" the particular Bible that, along with Lee Greenwood, he is selling.
3 of 17/  Trump's "God Bless the USA Bible" is allegedly a King James version but it also has an American flag on its cover and includes copies of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance.

2 of 28/  Yesterday, a New York appeals court ruled that Trump has ten days to pay a reduced bond of $175 million (down from $454 million) in his civil fraud case – and he has 10 days to pay it.
3 of 28/  In a press scrum afterwards, Trump was asked, "Do you ever accept money from a foreign government to pay the bond, or your fines, or any of your legal bills?" What follows is a verbal analysis (statement analysis), paralanguage, body language analysis of his response.

2 of 13/  Yesterday during the Republican-initiated House impeachment inquiry of President Biden, Rep. Jared Moskowitz and Rep. James Comer had multiple interesting exchanges.
3 of 13/  When Rep. Moskowitz asked Rep. Comer to second the motion to impeach President Biden, except for a grunt (11 second) Comer didn't answer in this exchange. His body language, however, spoke volumes.

1 of 7/  One gestalt Body Language take-away point from Katie Britt's Republican-SOTU response is her melodrama. Like me, you may recall memories from middle school thinking your classmates were over-acting in a school play. Image
2 of 7/  Acting is a form of lying *with consent*. Everybody's in on it. It's a shared-experience.  We do it for entertainment purposes. Image
3 of 7/  Lying, however, is acting *without consent*. Only one party typically (initially) is aware of the lie. It's most often done with nefarious intent. Image
