Sri Sudheendra Theertharu, a beacon of the Madhwa tradition, was a perfect disciple under Sri Vijayeendra Theertharu’s tutelage, mastering all Shastras and 64 arts. His scholarly works, dispelling myths of Madhwas’ literary capabilities, revolutionized Sanskrit literature.
Beyond mere scholarship, Sudheendratheertha’s works received accolades from kings, reflecting the Mutt’s status as a center of learning. His contributions turned the Mutt into a nucleus for spirituality and education, honored by rulers far and wide.
The remarkable Ram Lalla Idol, which was one among the 3 in consideration to be consecrated at Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi, meticulously crafted by Shri Ganesh L Bhat of Idagunji, Karnataka.
This monolithic sculpture, chiseled from a single stone, showcases astonishing attention to detail. Notice the intricate Dashavathara on the arc and the presence of the Sun God in the crown, along with the Sooryachakra.
