SitRep - 03/04/24 - More Russian attacks and newly announced aid for Ukraine

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Russia continues to attack en masse in several directions while new aid to Ukraine was announced by Western partners

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We also include visually confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment or personnel.
Overnight, all four Shahed drones that were launched into Ukraine were shot down.
Units of the 8th SSO regiment destroyed several pieces of heavy equipment. Also the two BREM's that tried to steal one of Ukraine's Strv-122 tanks were hit. In this video, a strike with a rare Brimstone missile is captured on video.
Longer and better footage from the attack on Tonen'ke, carried out by Russia several days ago. Here you can see that a Russian mechanized column gets hit one after another by ATGM fire from all sides.
A high valuable, and extremely dangerous weapon, a TOS-1A, destroyed by the 12th Operational Brigade Azov.
An EW complex used for the relay of drone signals was spotted and destroyed in the Zaporizhzia direction.
Russians show the aftermath of a Baba Yaga drone, targetting an URAL truck.
A T-72B3 destroyed, ended with a decent explosion.
A Russian BMP-3 was hit.
An overview of recently destroyed Russian self propelled howitzers/guns.
Lets continue with the general events. A Russian ship that carried sanctioned goods was detained in the harbor of Rostock.
The GUR made claims regarding the Crimea Bridge. I wouldn't talk too much about it in the media, if I were them.
Zelenskyi spoke to the Prime Minister of Japan and thanked him for the ongoing support for Ukraine.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb came to Kyiv and signed an agreement on security cooperation with Ukraine.
The Finnish President also announced a new military aid package to Ukraine worth €188 which includes much necessary equipment and ammunition.
More and more gas/oil plants are shutting down in Russia. One due to Ukrainian drone attacks, others due to 'sudden repairs'.
The UK and Ukraine are making progress on the seizure of frozen Russian assets.
Latvia announced more aid to Ukraine, mainly used for recovery but also partially for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Bakhmut-Ivanivske

➡️The situation for the AFU in Ivanivske deteriorated. Geolocated footage shows that Russia has brought the fight to the towns' southern part while taking control over an important area east. I expect Ivanivske to fall after which Russia will focus Chasiv-Yar. Image
Another interesting area is Synkivka, north of Kupyansk. In the last few months, Russia stepped up offensive actions to take the town in order to advance towards Kupyansk. But after months of battle, Ukraine persisted and Russia's offensive decreased, while taking big losses. Image
