1/ Russian forces deployed a tank specially modified to provide electronic warfare cover for their mechanized group. In what will be remembered as one of the most dangerous missions of the war, Ukrainian soldiers stepped in and managed to recover it.

Here is the full story. 🧵
Image
2/ Having neutralized 4 drones during the initial assault, a weak spot was identified and the vehicle ended up receiving substantial damage from a Ukrainian FPV drone. Simultaneously wire became tangled in its tracks, causing it to collide with the Russian BMP in it's vicinity.

3/ With the vehicle now immobilized, the enemy crew was forced the abandon it.

Having been identified as a high value asset by local commanders, a group of heroes from the Azov brigade was tasked with recovering it. Image
4/ Working solely at night to avoid detection by enemy reconnaissance, the Azovites were faced with an impossible task. They had to conduct field repairs to bring the vehicle into working order a mere 400 meters from Russian positions. Image
5/ These included, getting access to the driver's position, replacing the ≈60kg batteries and removing the wire entangled in the tank's tracks. All this, I kid you not, while the tank was positioned directly above a Ukrainian mine that needed to be diffused. Image
6/ To conduct these repairs, the team had to shuttle back and forth between the nearest Ukrainian positions, carrying all the necessary equipment, while maintaining a low profile. All this with Russian reconnaissance drones constantly overhead.
7/ During this time, there was an instance where the local Russian "golf" club even attempted to pay a visit, riding on the infamous Chinese golf carts, with the intention of reaching the vehicle. Luckily for the Azovites, the threat was quickly spotted and neutralized by drones. Image
8/ Having done the impossible by completing the repairs undetected, handling the mine situation, unlocking the hatch, starting the engine, and setting course for the Ukrainian positions to the west, the tank fell into a crater formed by a Russian airstrike a few days earlier, Image
8.5/ causing the driver-mechanic to temporarily lose consciousness. Fortunately, he managed to come to his senses and was able to successfully complete the mission. Image
9/ This tank turned out to be a 2022 T-72B3M, equipped a 1PN96MT-02 thermal sight. For their heroism and bravery, all the guys who participated in this operation are expected to receive decorations and awards by the Ukrainian state.

Here, I will dismantle the most common point of Ukrainian propaganda.

No, Ukrainians are not outnumbered.

Russia is the one outnumbered.

Ukraine currently fields 880,000 personnel.

Russia fields 620,000.

Can we stop about the outnumbered weak Ukraine bullshit?

Perhaps then it's time for the west to provide the munitions that it has repeatedly pledged instead of blaming Ukraine?
"Then why is Russia advancing"

1. They are literally not. No breakthrough means no advance, end of story.

What little "gains" they are making, if you can even call them that, are the product of tactical repositioning. Concerning Avdiivka, they only managed those tactical "gains" due to their initially superior territorial position.

The settlement had been in a god-damn semi-encirclement since 2014.
The frontline itself has not moved since 2022, and Ukrainian artillery is firing from the same positions it was in 2022. Wake the fuck up.

1/

In war it is always appropriate to learn. Even from the enemy.

The lesson of the day: Truth does not matter. Only people's perception of it.

Let's take a deep dive into the science and the art of propaganda: Image
2/ Propaganda, which as a concept has been demonized, is simply the effort of the state to push public opinion towards the support of its' interests. Image
Image
3/ Hence it is important that we assess the low level mechanics in question—not only to understand the magnitude of the threat that it poses to national security but also to counter the enemy's highly successful "information offensive" with our own.

1/ You asked why do I, and my friend @MndyMrningBlues, refer to this as the "real estate deal of the century"?

Well, gentlemen, let it be known that the total value of Ukraine's minerals added together, sits at, not at a $500 Billion, which is the value often thrown around, but a whopping $14.6 TRILLION.Image
2/ This conservative $14.6 Trillion figure represents the total economic value of Ukraine's known mineral resource holdings, including both exploited and unexploited reserves. Image
3/ Specifically, the Ukrainian state holds, to put it mildly, SIGNIFICANT deposits of iron ore, manganese, titanium, lithium, and rare earth metals, at quantities clearly disproportional to the size of the country. Image

I have explained many times that you don't have to be stupid to fall for propaganda. This is not how the science works.

The adaptation to environmental patterns is core to all intelligence, and virtually every authoritarian government in the world is using this to bend us to their will.

This is literal vassalization.
A few decades ago it was sufficient to have a home turf advantage. Not anymore. There is no home turf advantage when what you perceive as the majority of the "community" is in fact a bunch of trolls in St. Petersburg calling for the secession of Texas.
Man is a social creature. Whether you like it or not.

You ARE very much susceptible to propaganda and influence.

But what I have kept saying is that democracy CAN thrive in this world. All it takes for us to participate in the process and seize the narrative with our own trollbots.

Capital drives everything. It drives labour, it drives objective and it can also drive opinion.

1/ A misconception among those who believe Ukraine is losing the war stems from Russia's incremental advances in the East. These individuals often fail to articulate the strategic rationale behind Russia's decision to prioritize the Donbas in the first place.

However, it is in fact straightforward:
2/ Putin is hesitant to implement further conscription, forcing the Russian general staff to confront the reality that achieving the capitulation of Ukraine—defined through the seizure of Kyiv and other major centers of Ukrainian political power—is militarily unattainable.
3/ As a result, the Northern Front was abandoned in favor of the strategically inconsequential Eastern Front. This pivot reflects Russia's broader abandonment of efforts to secure a military victory in any capacity of the definition.

1/ Yes, Ukraine is winning.

Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the entire situation, without the bullshit:
Russia has two potential paths to force Ukraine into capitulation:

1. Through a Parliamentary Agreement

This would require two-thirds of the Verkhovna Rada to approve a capitulation and vote for the reform of the constitution. This is politically unfeasible for both sides. Image
2. A collapse.

This would necessitate the complete breakdown of the Ukrainian government’s ability to project power over its own territory. Achieving this without the total collapse of Ukraine’s Armed Forces is impossible. Image
