short disclaimer: in my past thread i shared a discord link and a telegram channel link which i assume some scammers bought after seeing the thread
they then prompted mfs who clicked into connecting their wallets and signing a tx which then drained them. pls be careful.
do not connect SHIT to the telegram bots i provide, they are solely random bots i use to scan shit lmao there is no need to connect anything
any official links that are safe will be found at the end of the thread.
got it? okay lets go.
mainly aiming to cover the 2 main aspects of the sol memecoin game
1/ new pair hunting - aka navigating the trenches, will show you how to vet new deploys for safety and what to fire at in hopes of landing the next 100x
2/ playing the charts and narratives
1/ new pair hunting
there are TOO many deploys per day here, sitting at new deploys is tiring as fuck.
and majority will straight up rug, 90% don't even see the light past 10k mc
to get slightly better chances at hitting a runner at launch, you have to:
- determine if its safe
- check it fits the sol meme norm
lets go over the base rules of identifying what's safe or not before we move onto what we actually wanna look for in new pairs before aping
to see new pairs i use , specifically ''Solana New Pairs'' to see new pairs going live. t.me/thejungool
-/ identifying what is safe
now here on each alert it'll show a bunch of info. i'll go over what you wanna look for and what's good or bad
- lp locked/burnt + not hp + mint revoked + metadata not mutable = good
- no obscene amount of airdrops = good (upto 20% is common here, the lower the better but cabal heavy coins go from 10-20% airdrops)
- verified contract = good
- added links in description of contract = good but not necessary
-/ checking holders
- at launch ofcourse top 20 will always hold most of the supply on new pairs since the coin just went live so its usually ok
- some individual holder holds like 10% (or any high amount) for example = sussy
- dev holds 15%+ = stay careful
(this below is ok)
- use to track if dev/airdropped wallets are selling you can gtfo earlier
that basically ticks off the base rules of identifying what's safe and whats not, the lower boxes ticked out of the above the riskier the koin is
now the stuff i just went through is mostly just saving you from getting rugged/dev nuking on you
what do you realllyyyy wanna look for though?
ideally:
• something safe (ive shown above)
• something low mc (sub 20k lets say)
• something thats a decent meme with good graphics/active socials
usually under jungool alerts beneath the verified contract it'll show a description area.
here you'll be able to quickly peek at the web/tg and it's graphics. anything low quality/forced too hard you prolly shouldn't hold too long at all.
try to join tg and peek how team is behaving too + general mood of the community.
graphics/meme idea and the community are basically THE most important aspects for a memecoin to be successful on solana
if you manage to bid a coin with seemingly well done socials + a good meme in general sub 10-20k mc, you'll likely cash in a solid win.
but after how many hours of sitting on new deploys will you find that, idk
all in all, look for smart/viral/known memes that make you laugh and stand out + are well managed (on socials ie twt + tg)
(i never laugh at sol memes but you get my point)
-/ understanding how long to hold
even IF you manage to land an early entry on what looks like a good meme, you gotta be careful not to roundtrip. stuff will run to 300-500k and even millions without a single dip and then go to zero in MINUTES
the downtrends on new launches are super dangerous and you WILL roundtrip solid 5-10xs (or more) if you hold on thinking you've caught the next wif
low port kings, please take the wins you land. hitting escape velocity on solana is rare unless a genuine viral meme occurs or you hit a cabal coin
i'll now move on to show alternative ways to find new stuff + adding confluence in le degen trades
-/ using photon new pairs
an alternative to jungool would be the photon new pairs section
basically a shitcoining suite, showing info such as mint lp and holders
can use the filters section here to avoid dogshit and tweak to whatever you want
however i dont use em
i usually use it to catch ansem/toly/etc tweets lmfao
caught $hobbes the other day fairly early camping on photon new pairs
(i'll go over the best settings for photon etc at the end of the thread)
-/pumpfun coins
basically any coin launched on here is unruggable, only risk buying from pump fun is the meme failing.
this shit is like 4 chan but they're solana deployspump.fun/board
this is how it works
so if you see 69k mc coins going live on jungool/etc its prolly a pumpfun coin with already existing holders
here you'll see a top board and and bottom section where newly made coins are shown, just throw money into shit that makes you laugh lol not much you can do here
skip if first buy of a coin is for example 5-10sol, this is a tactic by devs on pumpfun to get ''king of the hill'' and they then nuke the coin below 0 once people buy in
just a common skem method
-/ using volume surges to find launches
use ''solana volume 1'' channel here to catch stuff with sudden volume surges
- on good ones it'll have web + tg in description etc
- if name is good and web/stickers have some effort, its safe and low mc. slap some sol in.
- avoid aping tops of stuff that is at 500k mc first candle as soon as you open the chart bcz as forementioned, sol is cabal heavy and they could be pnds.
-/ insidooor launch signs
- high vol at launch (v high first candle lets say 250-300k)
- airdropped wallets (sometimes 20-30% of the total supply)
- smart wallets aping/TL shills by mid tier shidcoiners who are in on it
- run to 2-3m, hit the ceiling and get sold off to 0
-/ tracking wallets on sol
probably the most slept on strat since its so difficult and time taking. but tracking a bunch of wallets who get in early on good shit will help you further vet out early launches
ie: bunch of good wallets aping early af = might be something
around 2 wks back caught the nub launch cuz good wallets i follow went in hard early on
i've already made a comprehensive guide on how you can track wallets on sol
that covers the trench navigation experience on sol, there really isn't much you can do as a new pair hunter besides narrowing down specifics and firing at them.
-/ closing thoughts and advice on new pair hunting
i absolutely don't recommend it unless you're ready to go crazy vetting hundreds of coins a day
if you're low low low port i get it, but imo the majority will be better suited playing charts and narratives
but if you're a pattern recognition guru and sharp at reacting, new pair hunting will PRINT and you'll prolly find most runners early on your own.
okay, moving on.
2/ playing the charts and narratives
with a little bit of patience, a bunch of lines and numbers, you can make some neat trades on sol playing common chart patterns, breakouts, and buying key levels.
heaven for someone with a mid lvl port, you can compound gains fairly quick
-/ common setups and patterns
- when stuff tends to hover above the first run it's had for a while/shows repeated strength at the lows, it might be a bigger runner.
- has to be a good meme with a community that isnt dead af and fatigued
- ideally position yourself near the lows and wait for the run up
- cut at highs if it feels weak and the jeets dont let it escape
- this one i've seen more than my parents last 2 months
- price consolidates in a huge 50-65% range, and repeats the ping pong about 2-3 times lol before breaking out
- have seen this happen sub 20m or around that area mostly before breaking out for good towards 9figs
(examples)
was even printed on wif daily
safe to say if the entirety of ct meme cabal is onboard something the chart is printing something similiar to this pattern, itll prob go up
- coins that have spent eternity in hades but have come back to break out from prev ath and retest it seem to send
-/ scalping ranges
can find popular memecoins AFTER their huge run and swing the ranges
spot the highs and lows, draw the range, get clickin.
-/ reversal cheatsheet
- 90-95% drawdown from ath on flavour of the day memes seem to reverse back for a few Xs usually (considering it hasnt been abandoned and bagholders are still believing in it)
- on low timeframe/fresh launches with lots of hype, 85% drawdown from ath into some structure (ideally 1st ath) seem to provide good entries before 2nd runs
however 85% drawdown into structure also work well for already established memes (but my advice use em for in n out)
- high liq runners love the 70s + retrace into key level for a bounce
(actually bottom ticked slerf w the same strat few wks back on size)
-/ simple breakouts and buying key levels
main focus should be flavour of the day coins (mooner of the day) if you wanna flip money on these
buying key levels (ie where price keeps holding up/bouncing from) will work majority of the times IF
- coin is as said, mooner of the day
- not too young (dont try em on 5min old pairs, they're random)
- have clean prev structure
apologies for not providing examples i have a flight later cant gather em all fr
but you'll see this pattern a lot for example
- massive run up
- during run up max 30-40% dips
- elevator down into first ath level
- the level then provides for a good bounce afterwards
similiarly for breakouts, with even the slightest confluence and common ta knowledge you can perform good trades buying breakouts
see hobbes below, downtrend being broken + 0.786 being tapped
nearly identical setup on sharkcat
mostly the key levels you'll see include
- an area where price has bounced repeatedly/accumulated and ranged above
- a previous ath
- a range low
- a range high
(random example below)
- personally recommend trying to practice on the more established coins with a smaller amount to get the hang of it and overcoming drawdown fear
- once you know how price behaves on sol its mostly all the same on every chart
-/ selling the tops
ok maybe not selling the pico top but more like exiting potential local tops/derisking to avoid drawdown
(keep reading)
the only method i use to exit tops is this
- when a coin attempts to make a second ath with LESSER volume than the one before it (ath), i'll exit
- it may in some cases make a second ath ofc, but it won't hold long and it almost always retraces
see chart below
another random one
same one on slerf
-/ tools and settings
photon - (sick ref innit)
settings:
(35 slippage had some fails on newer launches but 40 works fine, prio fee is not needed to be that high, you can keep it at 0.01 unless you dont want failed txs at all and entry matters a lot) photon-sol.tinyastro.io/@jackaped
bonkbot -
this is if im on phone and i wanna ape from telegram
yeahh p much covers my whole system of trading on solana, i'd recommend a buncha practice without actual money if you're super low on capital
once you get the hang of it (you will in just a few wks if you use the advice ive given in this thread) you can start rly aping
narratives work well here, you dont even have to peep the chart if you land a very viral irl meme early
that being said, look for those especially
solana is ofcourse very very cabal heavy, you'll see skemmy pas everywhere but the base strategies stay the same
with time you'll more or less have your own system of what to tick before getting in
and mandatory disclaimer i've covered what has worked for me, cannot guarantee itll work the same for anyone else as execution differs person to person and simply cannot be mimicked
welp that concludes all
will be more active after eid and cover a bunch of other topics soon along with chart art
thaaaaats it bros, take care, gl and cya for the next one inshallah.

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
personally as an autistic onchain exit liquidity contributor, i believe risk management depends person to person, imo there is no general rule to it especially onchain
there are some basics though, so heres a long and boring thread on risk management from my perspective
*sigh*
first i'm gonna make one thing clear, this is entirely my perspective as an onchainer
i started this from $30 and have spent soooo many hours days weeks and months changing up strategies until they work
so don't take my takes religiously, you are allowed to disagree
first
gonna go over where your main focus should be and briefly cover position sizing relative to your portfolios
