This angle shows the previous officer and shows Reed emerged from the vehicle as the shooting was in progress.

This is a 4th Chicago police officer's bodycam video from the "exchange of gunfire" with Dexter Reed, who died.

This footage shows Reed's vehicle appears to move forward during the shooting. He then emerges from the vehicle before falling to the ground as shots ring out.

...This "plan" demonstrates the city's inability or unwillingness to address the actual problem.

The problem is a small number of violent people who come with large groups of young people with no ill intent.
...The "large groups" formed on the Mag Mile, particularly Water Tower Place), until the mall shut them down in 2019.

The groups moved to the Loop and Millennium Park.

Now, the groups will simply move to (flashback!) a beach or other public space.

Same problem. New location.

Working to verify video of The Bean shooting. If legitimate, the scenario is different from what we may have all been thinking.
...in the video, a male wearing a ski mask has his hands in his hoodie as a bystander is heard saying, "he got a 30."

Another male jumps on the ski mask-wearing male's back, knocking him forward and down. A sound similar to a muffled gunshot is heard.
...Text on the video says the make shot himself in the chest.

Again, this all needs to be verified.

However, it is common for people who have guns in these large groups to wear ski masks.

The Chicago Reader thinks it has identified secret ShotSpotter devices (blue). We can say this unequivocally: After monitoring CPD radio traffic in the green-circled areas for nearly 9 years, we have NEVER heard a ShotSpotter dispatch there.
...The reader FOIAed repair orders from Motorola to build their list of secret ShotSpoters. Perhaps Motorola also repairs other non-ShotSpotter devices like traffic monitoring equipment and pods?

Lori finally figured out that she can't send the police department home without becoming politically responsible for whatever happens on the streets.

Again, given her lack of foresight, sometimes it is very hard to believe that she was a high-level attorney in private practice.
