SitRep - 10/04/24 - A lost Mi-24 and water is flooding in Orenburg

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. After a dam breach, water is flooding into Orenburg, Russia. New aid from Germany was announced and Russia lost a Mi-24.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We also include footage from destroyed or damaged Russian equipment or personnel.
During the night, Russia struck Ukraine with missiles and drones. Of which most were taken down besides the ballistic ones.
The Ukrainian Navy said Russia lost a Ka-27, which later turned out to be a Mi-24, confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense themself.
A D-30 howitzer destroyed
A kamikaze drone destroyed a Russian EW-complex.
A Russian BTR-82 destroyed. The crew also didn't live.
Satelite images emerged from the recent drone attacks on an aviation center inside Russia. One building seems to be severely damaged.
Near Avdiivka, a Russian APC with infantry on top was struck by an FPV drone.

Lets continue with the general events. The US announced it will supply spare parts for the Hawk air defense system to Ukraine in order to do much needed maintenance.
British Minister of Foreign Affairs stated they are progressing to direct frozen Russian assets towards Ukraine.
In Orenburg in Russia, after a dam breach, they are facing heavy flooding. On several places the Ural river reached a level of 10 meter. Hundreds of thousands are evacuated.
Germany updated their list with aid provided to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Parliament started considering the mobilization reform bill, which was much talked about.
Kuleba, once again said they need more Patriot systems in order to defend Ukraine against Russian missile attacks.
US Department of Defense representative Celeste Wallander keeps repeating the US position on Ukraine striking at oil and gas facilities inside Russia. Calling it 'civilian targets'.
