So when I was a kid my mom was a private investigator.

She and her boss spent years working on the OJ Simpson case. I would often help by transcribing the dictation of the investigation so I became very familiar with the details of the case.

Their investigation found fairly convincing evidence that OJ didn’t kill anyone.

A🧵 …….
On the night in question 6/12/94 Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman had plans to visit her former son-in-law Jason Simpson (OJs oldest son) at his new job as a Hibachi Chef.

Jason had been asking for weeks for Nicole to visit him as he had recently finished culinary school and was excited to show off his new skills to the woman that was a maternal figure in his life during his formative years she had promised to attend and made a reservation. (Jason often had issues maintaining employment / relationships and this was to be his “fresh start” his diaries detailed and stressed the importance of her approval)

For some unknown reason they were not able to attend that evening.
When they didn’t show Jason
(Who has a well documented history of violence, substance abuse and mental health issues) snapped,
he left work and headed to Nicole’s residence to commit the murders.
After the deed was done Jason went to his father’s home in Brentwood and told him what happened. OJ decided that he would face the charges knowing he would not likely be convicted since at the time he believed that there was no evidence connecting him to the scene and he came up with a plan that would distract the police long enough for Jason to cover his tracks and destroy any evidence that could tie him to the crime. (The Bronco “chase”)
(Supporting Evidence) Jason’s alibi is that he was at work at the time of the murders but interviews with former coworkers revealed that on 6/12 they remembered Jason leaving work early visibly distraught. One employee even recalled Jason calling the restaurant later in the evening asking him to write in his hours on his time card since he didn’t clock out when he left before his shift ended.
Here is Jason’s time card for the week ending on 6/19/94 notice handwritten time for the 12th. Image
(More supporting evidence)
This knife found in a storage unit abandoned by Jason Simpson months after the murders was found to be a likely match for the some of the stab wounds as well as the Blount force trauma found on the victims.

Here is a diagram outlining the size of blade used in the murderer the one on the bottom is the size of the blade above the one on top matches a knife that came with a chef’s knife set that was owned by Jason Simpson but was “missing” from the set when his apartment was searched. Image
(Even more supporting evidence)
There were numerous items found at the crime scene Everyone focused on the gloves. But what was over looked was the knit cap that was found at Nicole Brown Simpsons residence that had hair from an African American male and a dog.

Here is Jason (an African American male) with his dog (a dog) wearing a hat that matches the one found at the scene exactly but was not in Jason’s home when searched by police.Image
This is the vehicle Jason was driving on the night in question the vehicle was less than 6 months old but this was its condition.

It was believed that while OJ was in the Bronco doing his smoke and mirrors thing Jason cut this section out of his center console because he had gotten blood on it and despite cleaning it would be detectable under any kind of scrutiny.Image

This is the one that always sold it got me. This is Jason as OJ’s not guilty verdict was read. Why wasn’t he happy that his father just got cleared of Double Homicide? Could it be because he knew that they would keep looking for the murderer and that he could still be found? Image
There’s a whole bunch more like his diary (where he talks about carrying out acts of violence almost identical to the carnage carried out against the two victims) and other physical evidence (Simpson DNA Found at the scene that was proven to not belong to OJ) feel free to look into it.
(Conclusion) OJ likely didn’t yield the knife but he knew who did and helped cover it up.
