SitRep - 14/04/24 - Day #780 with intensified armoured assaults

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Commander-in-Chief Syrsky confirmed Russia's increased attacks in the direction of Chasiv Yar, aiming to capture it before May 9.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We also include footage of Russian equipment or personnel losses.
Overnight, Russia attacked with 10 Shahed drones which were all taken down.
During the day, two Kh-59 cruise missiles were shot down.
In addition, one cruise missile of an unknown type was also taken down during the day.
The General Staff confirmed the airstrike in occupied Luhansk, claiming a command/control post was destroyed.
In the Kreminna direction, operational brigade Azov destroyed several pieces of heavy equipment. Among them a Tor air defense system.
A Ukrainian FPV attacks a Russian soldier, filmed by one of his comrades.
A Russian BUK air defense system hit, leading to fireworks.
Destroyed URALs with cope cages in the Robotyne direction
Russian infantry hit by the 37th Marine Brigade.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian fortifications were hit.
Lets continue with the general events. The General staff reports that it expects another false flag operation at the ZNPP.
In Russia, mass flooding continues and spreads to other regions.
A group of Ukrainian pilots that did an F-16 languarge course in Britain now go to France to start actual F-16 basic flight training.
Ukraine and Slovakia have signed a memorandum in the field of nuclear industry.
It is expected that a vote on aid to Ukraine will go to the US house floor in the upcoming week, finally, after half a year of stalling.
Ukraine has already tested and is mass producing a new 2024 variant of the Sea Baby drone with a range of 1000 km.

➡️Geolocated footage shows Russian advances north of Avdiivka towards Novobakhmutivka along the railway tracks. A mechanized attack north of Berdychi towards the southern part of Novobakhmutivka was repelled. Image

➡️Geolocated footage confirms that Russia has taken control over most of the area directly east of the first microdistrict of Chasiv Yar. Fighting has reached the first streets, Russia has not entered these yet. Image
Syrskyi stated that Russia has a goal to capture Chasiv Yar by May 9.
