OUTbreeding is the fast-life, short-term strategy usually happening without any care
INcest (or inbreeding) on the other hand, is the rather meticulous, long-term strategy - one may say aristocratic breeding as we will see below
"Cousin-feasting" is the average mean of both

Outbreeding allows you the increase your genetic diversity to survive possible uncertainties at the cost of loosing all the your ancestors' selections which made you the breed you became
- Novel mistakes from what's hidden WILL come, and without much of your control on them

Inbreeding allows you to specify yourself into a breed, a caste, a race, with abilities harmonized and improved towards what was selected.
Inbreeding is HARDER to achieve & HARSHER to life than outbreeding.
- Mistake from within your blood CAN be revealed, but ALSO avoided.

"Midbreeding" - with cousins of 3rd generation & around - is the practical & traditional spot, mitigating both outbreeding and inbreeding... But also without much benefit from one and the other!
- It works the best without much care, but won't lead to the greatest results

Outbreeding and Midbreeding both can, with luck, lead to the most phenomenal specimen
But usually if outbred, this won't be passed on for very long & if midbred, this might be your luck, cherish it!
But you COULD had it done much quicker, and with greater certainty as well...

IF you had INbred!
With INbreeding, the closer the relative, the stronger the effect... The greatest chances to reveal the Good OR the Bad traits WITHIN you!
All you need to make sure of, is to cull those unfit away, in one way or another
- This is called "Genetic Purging"

By Inbreeding, you harmonize & crystallize those traits you deem worthy & valuable within your bloodline
And ultimately when done right, Inbreeding WILL make you more and more unique AND pure (literally and scientifically) from others!
