SitRep - 16/04/24 - A new blyatmobile 🧐 and heavy fighting in Krasnohorivka

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. While a vote on US aid to Ukraine is possible this week, the situation at the front is deteriorating.. Hurry!

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We also include footage of destroyed or damaged Russian equipment or personnel.
Overnight, 9 out of 9 Shahed drones were destroyed.
A damaged T-90 in the Donetsk region.
Two MT-12 Rapira guns hit and likely destroyed.
A long-range radar in the Bryansk region was destroyed, RBC claims based on their own sources. This radar covered an area of 700km.
12th Azov is operating in the Kreminna direction and published footage of night operations against Russian equipment.
A tank and BMP taken out by the 71st Brigade.
After the crew abandoned ship, a Russian BMP was finished off with ATGM.
Lets continue with the general events. House speaker Johnson says he will pass aid to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan in separate bills.
Zelenskyi's evening speech
The White House is slightly optimistic about this approach, but still needs to look into the bills separately and more detailed before coming to a conclusion.
Ukrainian engineers are working on a maritime spacehip in the UAE. If Ukraine will be able to lay their hands on prototypes to use in the Black Sea, is unknown.
In an interview with PBS, Zelenskyi made some serious statements about the situation and the need for US aid. Without it, Ukraine will fall over time.
Changes to the law on mobilization were signed by Zelenskyi. It will come into effect from May 16.
Despite all the bad news, the economic situation in Ukraine is recovering slightly, although the forecast is still very dynamic and depends heavily on the outcome of current battles at the front.

Vuhledar-Solodke

➑️A relatively calm area became somewhat active. Geolocated footage shows new Russian advances west of Solodke. This movement might be connected to a new push to cut off the highway connecting Vuhledar-Konstiantynivka. Image
Berdychi-Semenivka

➑️After making their way north from Semenivka, Russians have now also taken up new positions north of Berdychi on the other side of the pond. Soon, the village will face an attack from both sides at once, making it untennable, I expect. Image
Krasnohorivka.

➑️The situation in the village is fluid, but Russians try to actively advance into the center. The gray zone has been widened while no confirmed new occupied Russian positions were recorded (gains in this map are from yesterday). Image

In Chasiv Yar, the situation remains tense but unchanged. Russian claims that they control the microdistrict east of the canal are false.
