SitRep - 18/04/24 - F16's before summer? & Ukrainian aid vote on Saturday
An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The vote for US aid to Ukraine will be held Saturday. Meanwhile, EU-leaders met and announced more aid and news..
Lets continue with the general events. We started the day with a video of Mike Johnson, who apparently, made a 180 degrees turn on aid to Ukraine. Where it was border, border, border first. It is now Ukraine first.
Compared to other aid this looks small, but this is a very good investment by Denmark. It will attract jobs for Ukrainians and kickstart domestic defense production. Well done Denmark.
Ukraine is further investing in long-range drones, and reportedly already produced a drone capable of striking 3000km in the Russian rear. As far as Siberia.
Saturday will be key, as voting on several bills including aid to Ukraine will happen. It is do or die for US House Speaker Johnson as a motion to vacate will absolutely come from hardline Republicans if he pushes forward.
To the front line situation. For the latest state of affairs at the front, I advise you to consult my interactive map.
You can find it at . The map is always accesible and is updated daily.noelreports.com
