Lots of political chess being played now in the Tennessee General Assembly on school vouchers. No one speaking to me believes there is a realistic chance of any measure passing this session, but... 1/
The question now: can school privatization forces get a vote on an amendment that allows them to run campaigns that say "XXX voted against school choice." 2/
When I left Capitol Hill last night, there was an expectation on both sides of the aisle that there might be an amendment filed to HB1191 to give them that vote. 3/
