SitRep - 20/04/24 - AID TO UKRAINE PASSED THE US HOUSE πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ€πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Today, the US House passed a bill that includes almost $61 billion in aid to Ukraine. Now it is up to the US Senate.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include footage of visually confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment and/or personnel.
During the day, missiles and drones were shot down.
Lately, lots of reconaissance drones are shot down. Russia is trying to get intel far behind the front line.
In Russia, energy and military facilities were attacked. Several regions were affected by Ukrainian drone attacks.
In Smolensk, an oil depot was seriously hit.
During the day, in Kursk, explosions were recorded.
In Bakhmut, 8 Russian officers were killed.
SBU unit Alpha, which we also provided with drones, continues to destroy Russian equipment.
Ukraine hit another Russian S-400 command and control center and/or radar.
Crotale AD taking down Russian UAVs
Lets continue with the general events. Lithuania announced more military aid to Ukraine.
Bureaucracy in the west. Solve it.
Biggest news of today. The US House adopted the Ukrainian aid bill. The Senate will high likely adopt it, and new aid can flow into Ukraine starting by the end of next week already.
Lots of cheering in the US House by Democrats.
Next up, US Senate. Which will vote on the bill next Tuesday, April 23...

➑️After initially being repulsed on the southern outskirts, newly geolocated footage shows that Russians managed to grab a foothold in Ocheretyne, north of Avdiivka. This is only infantry at this moment, heavy fighting is going on. Image

➑️Newly geolocated footage shows further advances of Russian troops along the highway towards Chasiv-Yar from the side of Ivanivske. The goal is clear, attack Chasiv-Yar from two sides. Image
Novomykhailiivka

➑️Geolocated footage and additional Russian published images show that Russian forces managed to reach the western outskirts of Novomykhailiivka. It is high likely that Ukrainian troops have left the settlement, looking for better positions to the west.
