.@ElonMusk is in a battle against the Australian government to stop the World Economic Forum from silencing citizens and independent journalists worldwide. Here’s everything you need to know: 🧵
2/ In January 2023, I exposed the threat of the Australian eSafety commissioner, Julie Inman Grant (an American who worked at Twitter pre-Elon), and the World Economic Forum’s “Safety by Design” project.
3/ Two months later, Grant demanded that @ReduxxMag, an international publication, delete a story about an American man who lives in Australia, plays women’s soccer, and allegedly injured real women. X had to censor the story for Australian users.
4/ That man is Justin “Riley” Dennis, a YouTuber known for calling straight men and lesbians “discriminatory” because they don’t find him attractive.
5/ Then the World Health Organization appointed Australian transvestite “Teddy Cook” to a UN panel charged with drafting “care” guidelines for the sexually confused. Daily Mail reported that Miss Cook had posted all sorts of depraved content to social media, including bestiality.
6/ @BillboardChris brought the story to X, observing that “people who belong in psychiatric wards are writing the guidelines for people who belong in psychiatric wards.” I’ve blurred Miss Cook’s chest in these images for obvious reasons.
7/ The eSafety commissioner then demanded that Chris delete his post and threatened to fine X ~$500k if it didn’t censor the post. X complied for Australian audiences but declared its intent to file a legal challenge to the censorship.
9/ In her most ambitious move yet, the eSafety commissioner has censored even news footage.
10/ On April 13, a man went on a stabbing spree, killing six people and injuring twelve others at a Sydney shopping mall. Independent journalists such as @StillGray reported on the events with video and images. eSafety declared this illegal:
11/ On April 15, a disturbed Arabic-speaking teenager now charged with terrorism offenses stabbed an Ancient Church of the East bishop, Mar Mari Emmanuel, during a church service, which was live-streamed.
12/ Now, the eSafety commissioner, backed by the Australian prime minister and the Australian Federal Court, is demanding that X censor these videos *globally* or else face a daily fine of $500.
14/ In response, Australian senator Jacqui Lambie proposed jailing @ElonMusk. “The power that that man has,” she fumed, “because of that platform that he’s on, it’s got to stop. It has absolutely got to stop.”
15/ Worse still, the prime minister of Australia, far-left Anthony Albanese, backed his WEF-affiliated eSafety Commissioner, promising that Australia is “prepared to take whatever action is necessary to haul these companies into line.”
16/ If you thought that perhaps these liberal globalists were at least doing all this for the sake of the victims, consider that Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel—the victim of the church stabbing who miraculously survived—is siding with Elon and wants the footage to stay online.
17/ So when the Australian prime minister says he wants to “haul these companies into line,” what does he mean? He means X. He means the place independent journalists publish. He means the place you can speak freely.
18/ Is eSafety fining Daily Mail $1M every 2 days for their “Teddy” Cook article? Or YouTube for hosting NBC's church stabbing video? It appears not. It seems the WEF’s plot to impose “eSafety” rules on the world is focused on X, the one major platform that lets us speak freely.
19/ So the fate of global speech stands to be decided in a kangaroo-court battle between a WEF-backed American lady who moved to Australia to censor the Internet and a South African man who moved to America who’s telling her she can’t.
20/ My full thoughts on @elonmusk's battle against globalist censorship and an interview with @BillboardChris:
Amid all the nonsense from federal judges, finally some good news from a district court: Judge Roger T. Benitez has a chance to end the secret trans-ing of kids in California schools.
Here’s what’s happening:
2/ In 2023, two Christian teachers alleged the Escondido school district demanded they lie to parents as schools secretly trans-ed kids. The teachers sued, and the @ThomasMoreSoc won them a preliminary injunction under Judge Benitez.
3/ The injunction didn’t stop CA Attorney General Rob Bonta from suing Chino Valley SD for trying to implement the same policy the Christian teachers requested—one that would inform parents if their child was “transitioning.”
Hi, @Stripe. Are we still doing this de-banking thing? Was it something I said?
If we say that men can’t be women, if we donate to pro-life charities, if we oppose two men buying eggs, renting wombs, and commoditizing babies…
Does that come at the cost of de-banking?
2/ X pays its monetized users through Stripe. Six months ago, my payments abruptly stopped, and I began receiving this notice even though I had a perfectly functional Stripe account.
3/ An innocent mistake, I assumed! I reached out to Stripe and “Leigh,” a delightfully unhelpful Stripe employee. Leigh confirmed a “hold” on my account but said I had to contact X for the content of the “hold” email they sent to X, despite the fact that Stripe sent the email.
Do vaccines cause autism? I sat down with the man at the center of the debate, the man who started it all: Dr. Andrew Wakefield. 🧵
"One of the most unfairly vilified human beings alive today in the world"
—Dr. David Weldon, President Trump’s original nominee for CDC Director on @DrAndyWakefield
Here are the top 5 revelations of our conversation:
1. His now infamous 1998 paper in The Lancet never actually claimed that vaccines caused autism. MMR was only mentioned when eight of the 12 parents reported that their child’s symptoms began soon after the vaccine. The study noted this as background, not as a conclusion.
1/ NEW: As President Trump moves to end DEI in America, a Colorado school board is doubling down, planning to install BLM and “Pride Progress” flags in the classroom.
2/ This ideological campaign began last September when a mother filed a complaint over BLM and pro-trans “Pride Progress” flags in her child’s classroom. She rightly observed that the flags promoted political indoctrination and undermined a normal learning environment.
3/ Following a review by the chief academic officer and legal advice from the district’s counsel, the administration concluded that the mother was right: the flags were indeed political and needed to be removed.
Notice how almost everyone’s reaction to the Lily Philips story comes down to three words: “it’s her choice.” But is it? 🧵
2/ According to the liberal misconception of freedom, it is. According to the classical view, freedom is not neutrality in choosing but rather willing predicated on knowledge. The ignorant (e.g., children) and the vicious (e.g., crack addicts) are not free.
3/ We account for that fact in the law. Kids can’t vote. Hunter Biden isn’t supposed to buy guns. Such legal restrictions don’t make those people less free; they simply acknowledge that those people are not sufficiently free to undertake certain responsibilities.
1/ A bombshell story few are talking about: Joe Biden, his family, and the state of Delaware have brought us Tim “Sarah” McBride, the first trans-identifying man elected to Congress.
2/ Like most trans activists, McBride is not content with mutilating his own body and forcing society to pretend he's a woman. He’s in favor of chemically castrating and mutilating kids and appears upset by parents’ wanting to remove LGBT material from classrooms.
3/ McBride even wants boys to be able to compete against girls in sports. When a lawmaker brought up the unfairness faced by @Riley_Gaines_ against Will “Lia” Thomas, Tim evaded the obvious injustice by complaining that the Republican didn’t respect Thomas’s preferred pronouns.
