🧵I’ve been covid cautious for 5 years now (2 yrs of which I’ve had Long Covid). I don’t know anyone else my age in the UK who is Covid cautious & people always just assume ‘my mum is making me’ but I do this for myself and for others. It’s my choice and it’s a good choice.
I don’t find it difficult to be Covid cautious but I do find other people’s attitudes difficult. So, hopefully find some likeminded people and feel less like i’m going crazy. Most people my age know nothing about Covid.
Me masking when i was at school. It’s been a very long and isolated 5 years. Thank you to everyone who is protecting themselves and others, it makes this so much easier :D
@LeBu7777 Also, I realised I don't want to be friends with people who can't be respectful of others situations or choices. Like I would do for them. Not having certain things has made me realise that I really don't need them to be happy. Like superficial friendships.
