After 4.5 years, today's my last day at Google. Here's a thread on why I quit, and why I'm excited about going full-steam-ahead into web3.

Google is a phenomenal company. The people are world-class, the problems are interesting (& affect billions of people), and the underlying tech stack is mature. On top of that, the perks and compensation are near top-of-market.
Your experience is often dependent on the team and manager, though. Not every team is working on interesting/impactful problems, and managers can affect your day-to-day greatly. (But, I've been fortunate enough to work on great teams & have supportive managers!)
