We are in Harrisburg for the Senate Education Committee meeting, where we expect members to approve a school voucher bill. 
This letter urging opposition to vouchers was set to every PA lawmaker today. Spending more $$ on vouchers for unaccountable and discriminatory private schools does not bring PA one one dollar closer to constitutional compliance. edvoterspa.org/wp-content/upl…

Seems like lawmakers should lower the EITC/OSTC family income limits if they actually care about poor students. 🤷♀️

Senator Pennyciuck wants to ensure that accounts in proposed voucher program will be audited. Apparently she has no concern for audits of the $470 million EITC/OSTC voucher program. Bill passes with all Rs and Senator Anthony Williams voting yes. Other Democrats voting no.
