DANIELS: I wouldn't say we are buddies, he went on my podcast and I went on his.

NECHELES: On that podcast, he told you he had nothing to do with any supposed threat.
DANIELS: Correct.
NECHELES: Both you and Michael Cohen aspire to make money off of seeing President Trump go to jail, correct?

DANIELS: “I didn’t care for how much , i just wanted the story out there, which is why i had the press conference set up for free”
And here is Trump's defense (one of them):

NECHELES: You were looking to extort money from President Trump, right?
DANIELS: False.

NECHELES: Well, that’s what you did, right?
DANIELS: False.
DANIELS: I authorized Gina Rodroguez to shop around the story so i could make it public
DANIELS: Before this, I had a press conference set up for free
NECHELES: but you didn’t give the press conference, right?
DANIELS: Gina came back into the picture so i didnt do the free press conference.
DANIELS: “If i had a chance to get the story out and make some money, yes”
Court recesses for the day. We are back on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The lawyers have returned now that the jury has left for the day.

The first issue has been resolved: The prosecution has decided NOT to call Karen McDougal as a witness.

The second issue: Trump wants to be able to respond to Stormy Daniels by amending the gag order.

Westerhout was the Greeter at Trump Tower before Trump went to the WH. When he was in the WH, she was his Executive Assistant.
She testifies that her official title at the WH was "Director of Oval Office operations at the White House."
She is appearing via a subpoena.

The prosecution now calls Tracey Menzies, of Harper Collins Book Publishing.
Menzies is testifying as Custodian of Records for HC. She is here pursuant to a subpoena and Harper Collins counsel is present in the courtroom today.
MANGOLD: So there are multiple points when authors are involved?
MENZIES: “Yes they are fully engaged."
MANGOLD: Are they required to sign off on it before the book is published?
MENZIES: yes

They are discussing Trump's book: “Think Big: Make it happen in business and in life" that he wrote with Bill Zanker.

NECHELES: Mr. Trump is the only person that can sign personal checks?
MANOCHIO: Correct
NECHELES: Is… it was all of the checks for all of his personal expenses?

NECHELES: It was no business expenses that were being sent in, right?
MANOCHIO:: Yes
NECHELES: Because the business expenses, once he became president, had nothing to do with him right?

She was Allen Weisselberg's Assistant and worked at Trump Org. for 11 years.

Manochio: Junior bookkeeper
MANOCHIO: Testifying by subpoena, Represented by counsel
MANGOLD: How often would Mr. Weisselberg interact with Mr. Trump.
MANOCHIO: Every day.

MANOCHIO: I did not pay bills, had a role with processing, and took checks with their backups together for Mr. Weisselberg to sign.
MANGOLD: Did mr. Trump get a new job in 2017
MANOCIO: He did
MANGOLD: Did he have to relocate for that job
MANOCIO: Yes
MANGOLD: And what was that job?
MANOCHIO: The president of the united states
MANGOLD: And where did he have to relocate
MANOCHIO: he went to the white house
