SitRep - 08/05/24 - Yet another attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure...

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Overnight, a combined missile/drone attack on Ukrainian energy infrastructure was conducted. There is damage.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visually confirmed footage of destroyed or damaged Russian equipment and/or personnel.
Overnight, Ukraine got attacked by a massive missile and drone strike. Unfortunately, not all was shot down and significant damage to TPP's and other energy infrastructure was done. A big chunk of drone sand missiles were shot down by AD.
On the other hand, major damage to a Russian oil depot in occupied Luhansk was inflicted. Preliminary info states that lots of oil tanks burned down while doing additional damage to the area including power lines and gas pipelines.
A Russian T-90 left a hatch open. That was an easy pray for Ukrainian drone operators.
A high valuable Russian 2S7 destroyed.
A Ukrainian Bradley taking on a Russian T-80 tank. The IFV wins, with a clear TOW shot.
A Russian EW-complex likely hit/damaged.
In a Russian seaport, a big hangar is on fire. Given the scale of the fire, it will probably burn down.
The 11th Brigade focussing on Russian equipment and hideouts.
Death and destruction in Robotyne. Despite Russian claims, Ukrainian forces are still able to film from the most southern part of the settlement where they initially raised a Ukrainian flag during the counteroffensive of 2023.
Lets continue with the general events. Zelenskyi delivered a powerful speech about the 'revival of Nazism'.
Another Russian turtle tank appeared.
The Ukrainian FrankenSAM program is in full swing, but still lacks proper funds to scale up production.
Romania is among the countries that could possibly deliver a Patriot system to Ukraine.
Zakharova said that French troops will inevitably be targets once they enter Ukraine.
Zelenskyi spoke with the Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen to speed up F-16 deliveries.
In principle, there is an agreement on the transfer of profits from Russian frozen assets in the EU to Ukraine.
Greece will not send Patriot nor S-300, because it needs it.
