SitRep - 09/05/24 - New attacks on Russian oil refineries and depots.

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Overnight, Ukraine once again attacked an oil refinery and oil depots inside Russia, inflicting significant damage.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We include visually confirmed damaged or destroyed Russian equipment or personnel.
Overnight, a total of 17 Shahed drones were shot down.
During the night, Ukrainian UAVs attacked an oil depot in the Krasnodar Krai, inflicting significant damage.
At least one oil tank was visually taken out, but Russians themself confirmed more than one were severely damaged.
Not much later, a Ukrainian UAV (light aircraft converted to a kamikaze drone) attacked a refinery in Bashkiria in Russia. Over 1400km (!) from the border with Ukraine.
Bilhorod was shelled in the early morning, with damage as a result.
A Msta-S destroyed by the 109th TDF.
Yet another Chinese supplied DesertCross ATV used to assault Ukrainian positions, but simply got destroyed.
Satelite images confirmed damage to an oil depot after the attacks on May 7.
During the day, information emerged from Ukrainian monitoring channels that a Su-25 was shot down. It did not yet get a follow up from the Ukrainian General Staff. Mabey tomorrow.

In the Avdiivka direction, another mechanized assault was repelled.
During the evening, explosions happened in Mariupol. Russians claim ATACMS were used.
Lets continue with the general events. Czech President Pavel said when Ukraine can expect the first delivery of roughly 180.000 shells.
The first batch of Ukrainian pilots are almost done with their training on F-16 fighter jets, making them ready for missions inside Ukraine.
Britain allocates more money to Ukraine.
A new military aid package for Ukraine is expected to be announced soon.
Former CiC Zaluzhyi is now appointed as Ukrainian Ambassador to Britain.
Sweden also allocated more money to Ukraine.
In secret locations, Ukraine is completely relaunching its arms industry.
Germany has announced it will buy 3 HIMARS systems from the US and send them to Ukraine.

SitRep - 07/05/24 - ATACMS in Luhansk and don-don Kadyrov appeared again.
