Also since some have also figured this out, if you’re curious how James is now, he’s using his other alt which was made in 2017 using stolen Grindr pics, did nothing but @ porn stars and promote his co-writer’s book and came back years later when James was revealed to not be dead Image

He made a bunch of posts about himself back in March when it was revealed he was alive and well and just recently deleted them when people over the last few days wondered if this mysterious man with clearly stolen pics and James’ interest who only logs on to defend James is James

The same day James posted his first YouTube apology he started this alt account for himself, originally under the attempted rebrand name of The Gay Raconteur. Since then it was rebranded as an anal themed account and a shark themed account before assuming a fake identity of Will

Of note is this time in between apology 1 and apology 2 where he, on his alt, began arguing in defense of himself, saying that what he did wasn’t that bad and didn’t hurt anybody because the stuff he plagiarized was “like a decade old” and blaming “the cult of Hbomb” Image

I’ve been seeing some confusion about the timeline of events so here’s some more stuff in chronological order, showcasing more of just how out of nowhere some of these transitions were and how pushy it started to feel, where it was hard to do anything but just try to move on

Also just want to say that at the time of all of this, I was horribly sick with the flu and had lost my voice for several weeks and was basically miserable and barely there. So most of the time I’m struggling to just stay awake, let alone try to respond to all this Image

James Somerton still wanting to collect ad revenue and have his Patreon open and make videos isn’t going to work anymore. Even if he swears he’s going to give the money to the people he stole from or swears he’ll properly credit everyone, he has proven he can’t be trusted
I feel bad for any mental anguish he is going through. But his apology video is manipulative and focuses more on his own pain while trying to feign ignorance about the ways in which he has caused material harm to the queer community.

For those who don’t follow this stuff, several theaters showing Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm film last night crapped out and stopped working and screenings were either cancelled or changed to digital screenings, upsetting those who traveled specifically to see it in IMAX 70mm
To explain why this is an interesting problem, only 20 or so theaters in the country are playing Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm making it incredibly rare, and because of that, screenings for the IMAX 70mm are basically entirely sold out until August 9th - the last day of its IMAX run
Theaters can give out things like free passes or concession vouchers as a response to incidents like this happening, but the only way for those people to see it in that same format now is hope the theater adds more screenings at 2:30 am or hope the IMAX run is extended

I’m finally getting around to watching Book of Boba Fett and I’m absolutely astounded that someone would make a TV show like this
It’s like they greenlit a Boba Fett show, then realized they had no idea what a Boba Fett show would even be about, and the end result is you watching them scramble in real time to figure out what Boba Fett could even do in a Boba Fett show
A big issue with Boba Fett is that The Mandalorian basically was a way to do a Boba Fett story (a tale of a cold masked bounty hunter and the jobs he goes on) but without the character of Boba Fett and the baggage that comes with him. What use is Boba Fett in a post-Mando world?
