An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. On the border with Kharkiv, Russian assaults have reportedly started. Did the much called Kharkiv offensive finally started?

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours, and we include footage or images of destroyed or damaged Russian equipment and/or personnel.
Overnight, all 10 launched Shahed drones into Ukraine were shot down.
During the day another cruise missile was shot down.
Another day, another refinery. This time in the Kaluga region, an oil refinery which was subject to attacks last March already, was once again attacked.
In Rovenki, an oil depot was struck with ATACMS.
Explosions in Bilgorod were reported.
Lets continue with the general events. GUR representative Yusov said that Ukraine already inflicted up to $500 million in damage to the Russian Black Sea Fleet with Magura V5 naval drones.
Czechia has handed over an F-16 simulator to Ukraine.
Belarus is reportedly building a new base which could possibly host nuclear weapons, close to the border with Ukraine.
The US announced a new, much needed, $400 million aid package to Ukraine.
Canada pledged more support to the German air defense initiative.
Western F-16's might appear on the battlefield in Ukraine very soon.

All eyes on Kharkiv-Sumy today, Early morning... information started to appear that Russians are trying to break into the border area in Kharkiv. Up until now, no confirmed map changes are recorded. But an overview of events are shared in this thread.
Russians started to spread information about their forces trying to break into Kharkiv, which would later turned out to be mostly true.
Ukrainian channels started to report on the first losses in border villages.
More from the area on the border with Kharkiv.
The Ukrainian MoD also confirmed hostile actions on the Kharkiv border.
The same goes for a Russian troop build up the Sumy region.
Zelenskyi also confirmed Russian attacks.

SitRep - 07/05/24 - ATACMS in Luhansk and don-don Kadyrov appeared again.

SitRep - 04/05/24 - Another ATACMS hit in Crimea?
