1. Choosing to not clearcut this area will remove 0.16% of West Fraser’s Forest Management Agreement, however it will spare the second most popular recreation area in Alberta. West Fraser should request the gov remove this harvest from the SHS & provide another harvest area

If the harvest must proceed, we recommend the following as minimum mitigation efforts:
-50m buffers with an additional 50m feathered buffer on the windward side for wind resistance
-Cutblocks placed between trails and not on top of trails
