1/ it's the 5th quarter where @coinbase, the largest staked ETH custodian, refuses to share any info on their staked ETH 🙃

estimates indicate they manage ~21% of all staked ETH Image
2/ @adcv_ has estimated a constant ~15% of staked ETH over the past few quarters, with 6% more recently which could be tied to Coinbase Custody

Lower NFT trading fees lead to increased wash trading? 🤔

Given the lack of direct incentives, @opensea's trading data before and after lowering their fees should contain some insights

Unfortunately, wash trading seems like an inevitable byproduct of lower fees 😔

Trading volume

Between January 1st and February 17th, my wash trading filter flagged 0.7% of OpenSea's trading volume

This past week, 5.4% of total volume was flagged as wash trading, it even reached 11% on February 7th

It's worth noting however that this increase can only be seen in trading volume, wash trade count doesn't seem to have been impacted by the change

I just reworked my 𝗘𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 @DuneAnalytics dashboard from the ground up 🥩

TLDR;
🆕 Migrated to Dune v2
🔓 Open-sourced tables on spellbook
👥 Added more entities I uncovered
📊 Added some charts

Dashboard: dune.hildobby.xyz/ETH-Staking Image
I migrated the entire dashboard to Dune v2 and as part of the migration created the following tables on spellbook:
- staking_ethereum.entities: List of identified staking deposit addresses.
- staking_ethereum.deposits: All ETH deposit events.

It now includes data on @fraxfinance, @cakedefi, @swellnetworkio, @gate_io, @CelsiusNetwork & more

I made an open-source wash trading filter available for all to use on Dune v2 and managed to flag $30B of NFT wash trades - that's ~44% of volume traded 🤯

As we head into the merge, I thought it would be interesting to look into current Ethereum staking stats 🥩

Thus far, 80k addresses have sent a total of 13.7M $ETH to be staked, that's ~11.4% of ETH's current circulating supply. Let's look into a more granular breakdown 👀🧵
1/ Liquid Staking 💧

Liquid staking remains predominant thanks to @LidoFinance having facilitated over 30% of all staked ETH. Looking into liquid staking marketshare we have the following:
I chose to exclude @coinbase's $cbETH since only a portion of Coinbase's staked ETH is liquid and I thought splitting Coinbase's staked ETH wouldn't make sense.
