SitRep - 21/05/24 - Another call to lift restrictions

An overview of the daily events in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Zelenskyi once again called on western allies to lift the restriction on the usage of western weapons inside Russia.

As usual we start with Russian losses over the past 24 hours. We also include footage of visually confirmed destroyed or damaged Russian equipment.
Another Shahed drone attack overnight, 28 out of 29 were shot down.
Blyatmobile, turtle tank, Blyatbarn. Whatever it is called, another one was seen and destroyed. This time in the Kreminna direction.
An fuel depot was struck in Bilhorod, leading to a big fire.
A Russian BMP with infantry on top was hit by an FPV.
The Ukrainian Navy confirmed that the Project 22800 missile ship Tsilkon was destroyed.
Yesterday's missile strike on a military command post in occupied Luhansk led to the death of 13 Russian military men and 26 more wounded. Among the wounded reportedly is the commander of the Southern Military District.
Overview of recent work by ACHILLES unit, taking out several pieces of heavy equipment.
Another BUK was added to the list of recently destroyed air defense systems by the 3rd SSO regiment.
A rare BMD-3 Bakcha IFV destroyed.
A summary of recent work by the 70th Air Assault Brigade.
Lets continue with the general events. The German Minister of Foreign Affairs arrived in Kyiv.
Germany is also reportedly ready to support a US-led plan to leverage frozen Russian assets to back a $50 billion aid package to Ukraine.
The EU has approved the transfer of proceeds from Russian frozen assets to be used for aid to Ukraine, mostly in the form of military aid.
The EU wants to speed up the negotations on Ukrainian accession, but Hungary still doesn't want to give in.
A new US military aid package is expected to be announced by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, Russian sabotage across Europe continues.
10 Ukrainian servicemen finished training on F-16 maintenance in The Netherlands.
Zelenskyi once again called on Western partners to lift the restriction and to be allowed to strike inside Russia as well as stop being afraid of escalation with Russia when NATO decides to close the airspace in parts of Ukraine.
Scholz is against a no-fly zone in Western Ukraine, calling it a dangerous talk of warmongers.
Romania is also preparing new military aid to Ukraine.

Klishchiivka

➡️During the last 24-48h, Russians made a push for Klishchiivka coming both from the east and north. Geolocated footage shows Russians putting up their rag in the centre, it is unknown if they were able to keep positions. Also, fighting in the south is reported. Image
